Read moreThe tau sar peah and heong peah need no introduction and are a must buy. They don't last due to the lack of preservatives and need to be consumed within 3 days. The biskut telinga is worth a mention as they are well made as compared to cheaper versions elsewhere. Pineapple tarts are also worth trying. The goods here tend to be less sweet compared to others which is nice though this is more of personal preference. Read moreRead all the favourable reviews and decided to give this place a try. The heong pang filling was starchy, gummy, tasteless and absolutely nothing aromatic or fragrant about it.
Similarly, the tau sar pang was bland and lacklustre and the flaky pastry seemed under-baked as it was more damp than flaky.
Maybe their biscuits were good and famous some time in the distant past, but no longer. And the prices for their biscuits; not value for money.
