We had a fantastic experience dining at Atlantic Nyonya Restauran! The food was full of rich, nostalgic flavors that truly captured the essence of Nyonya cuisine. From the first bite, you can tell everything is made with heart and tradition.
Beyond the delicious meal, one of the highlights was discovering their homemade sambals and sauces, which we happily stocked up on to bring back to Germany! Here's what we grabbed:
Sambal Ikan Bilis– Spicy, savory, and just the right amount of heat. It’s incredibly versatile—perfect with rice, noodles, white bread, or even as a stir-fry base for kangkung, seafood, or petai. Sos Ulam– A flavorful dipping sauce that pairs beautifully with fresh vegetables like ladyfinger, brinjal, and long beans. Refreshing and addictive! Sambal Cili Garam– This one’s a game-changer. Absolutely amazing with fried fish or seafood. We also tried it with chicken stir-fry at home—no extra seasoning needed!
The staff were friendly and helpful, happy to explain the different sambals and how to use them. If you’re a fan of bold, spicy, and authentic Malaysian flavors, this place is a must-visit.

Read moreWas recommended to dine here but was utterly disappointed with the kitchen's staff service. We arrived at 9.20pm and wanted to try the chendol after dinner nearby restaurant but was told by staff that kitchen's last order was at 9pm. So I ask staff nicely to check with the kitchen staff if they can accommodate our request for dessert and not any cooked dishes. Shortly a kitchen staff shouted loudly over the small kitchen sliding winding that the kitchen is closed. There were some occupied diners there and we felt extremely embarrassed and unwelcomed by the stares gvn. We felt being chased away. So unprofessional to treat your customers this way and be rest assured you have lost potential customers here. Be thankful you have biz and not be arrogant when Covid has recovered. And we are from Singapore...

1st, the fried fish cost us RM 140, when you can get same fish at rm 70 even at big big restaurants!!! Plus the fish is too salty until we only taken half of the fish. Its overcooked too, losing the taste. No more authentic nyonya food.
2nd, other items on the menu like pineapple rice, Ayam pongteh and sambal petai sotong Udang is like pricing at 4 times over normal price, what is this??? I must admit the food are cooked, but taste like normal Pasar malam preparation, what make the items so expensive???
3rd, Chinese tea pot priced at Rm 15?? Cut throat!!! Even high class dim sum also cost less than this.
