THE BEST CHICKEN RICE — Restaurant in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

My first time dining here. Though the place had a lot of guests coming in, there was still plenty of space between tables. There are two areas - inside and the outside. The food came very quickly - I ordered steamed chicken rice with a small portion of char siew. They make sure to give you a personal place mat for your plate so it doesn't move when you're eating. For a portion of chicken rice, it is RM 6.90 and comes with a stewed egg. The rice was fragrant. You can ask for extra chili and it'll be brought to you. I found the char siew a bit too sweet for my liking, but to each their own. They also offer a lifetime membership which comes with a 10% discount and a chicken rice cake for your birthday.

I want to especially commend Mei Jing for her service. She was polite and quick to get me the things I asked for. She was also the only one who was moving quickly from one table to another - taking orders, cleaning up, responding to customers and such. I hope the management acknowledges...

I recently visited a chicken rice store in Melaka that claims to serve the "best chicken rice," but my experience was far from satisfactory. The rice was bland and lacked the fragrant flavor that good chicken rice should have. I tried both the chicken rice ball and the regular rice, and both were equally disappointing.

The chicken itself was tough and not enjoyable to eat. I was genuinely surprised that this place has the audacity to name itself the best chicken rice in Melaka. In my opinion, more famous and established stores like ... are far superior and deliver a much better dining experience. I regret not sticking to my usual favorites.

Overall, this place did not live up to the hype, and I won't be returning. Save your time and money and go to a reputable chicken rice...

Reached around 12pm on Saturday. Hoping to have a nice 白斩鸡。Hopefully I entered the shop full with people and luckily there was a seat available. I ordered 白斩鸡 and duck lower part, teh c via their app. I waited around 45 mins for their service telling me to change the menu as they lack the above I ordered. I agreed with their request as I was quite hungry at that time. After they changed their order, they then serve teh c ice after 45 mins. It had a beautifully waterly taste with lots of ice and was full of disappointment. Next comes the duck and chicken. The duck was old, lacking of tender and grainy feel when biting.
