回味锅 Tasty Hotpot — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Tasty hotpot is a hotpot stall located at eco botanic, and honestly, it is good. They had excellent service, wide variety of food selection and insanely good soups and freshly made ingredients.

The self help condiments station had freshly grind ingredients, with fresh aroma flourishing out from the bowl. From garlic to spring onions and all time fave sesame sauce. They even have garlic oil and shallot oil which was something new for me.

We ordered tomato soup (must have), mala (super spicy) pepperish pig organ soup (savoury) and their la la soup (very fresh). All 4 soups were delicious and unique in their own way. The tomato soup was super sweet and really flavourful, the la la soup tasted like one of those Japanese clam soup, also very good. For their pepperish pig organ soup, the longer we cook the better it gets. Best thing was, we didn’t feel thirsty at all.

The pork jowl was thinly sliced, beef tenderloin was super tender (really must order) Iberico pork was abit tough. Overall they have their meat selection but can have more, all in all, meat quality are superb. You don’t need quantity as long as you have quality.

Barramundi was nice, not juicy and I like the texture. I preferred fish with texture rather than those tender soft type. It fits my taste bud.

The fruits we had was guava and watermelon, they had a nice variety of ice cream. From coffee to yam, mango, milk tea, red bean & durian.

Their honey lemon, chestnut, and calamasi are free flow too.

A very cozy joint with good quality hotpot! The highlight of the dinner was the Minced garlic chili beef and the clams soup!

The Minced beef was well marinated with garlic infused taste with mild spiciness kick which gives out the flavour of the beef without the gamey taste after stewing it in the clam soup.

The clam soup is close to perfect with the distinct umami of the clams and the perfect balance of saltiness. They have obtained the perfect ratio of ginger and clams, the end result: no fishy taste!

Their staffs are very attentive and polite, they are very meticulous in handling the food served and assisted with the prawn paste and Minced beef (making it into ball)

They are also accommodating as we are the last group to leave, they are willing to stay on beyond their early closing time for us to finish our food! Another star for that!

There are ample parking space with security personnel roving around making sure that your vehicle are safe!

Overall is a good place to have a meal with your family and friends with a good chit chat over some...
