Tom&Danny Coffee @ Eco Botanic — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Absolutely disappointing experience at Tom and Danny. This place clearly wants to be a Starbucks alternative — chill, cozy, a go-to spot for students or remote workers. But the execution is painfully off. The music choice? A complete disaster. Instead of creating a calm and inviting atmosphere, they blast random, jarring tracks — including loud Malay songs that completely kill the vibe. It’s honestly impossible to focus, let alone feel like you want to stay and work.

The environment that should feel quiet and comfortable ends up being chaotic and awkward. No wonder most of their original customer base has disappeared — anyone looking for a decent, classy place to sit and work won’t last ten minutes here. The crowd they attract now? Let’s just say it reflects the downfall in ambience.

To make it worse, the prices are steep for what you get. Mediocre drinks, poor vibes, and no reason to come back. If Tom and Danny seriously want to compete with names like Starbucks, they need to rethink everything — starting with the music and the identity crisis they’re...

Love the atmosphere here to study and come here with friends. But sadly (according to new staff, no more student discount) so students be prepared to pay full price 😵

Came here after 6 months and immediately I noticed there were new staffs. They were nice and quite chatty (to others) even during ordering of drinks. But contrast is big with the senior/old staff which would greet when you enter and even make small talk when I came and order before, some of them even remembered me which is a bit touching, even after a long time I did not come by. New staff is just new staff.

Even attention to detail is unmatched with the old staff with the new, for example, the coffee coaster that my drink came with today had white mold on the middle because it was not dried enough. I went down and asked for a new one.

Atmosphere still the same but maybe they need to be a bit aware on cleaning the glass of the railings and some of the floor, someone spilt coffee over it and it seemed to be dried more than...

Food ⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏼 Hawaii Chicken Chop Quite nice, tasty and meet my flavour. Chicken soft enough and juicy. Garlic bread with raisin impress me. Yet, bake longer a bit will be more crispy. 👉🏼 Black Pepper Chicken Chop Average. Sauce taste light. No spicy, no fragrant of pepper. Mashed potato also tasteless, put more flavour will be better.

Coffee ⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏼 Rose Latte Good, fragrant enough, syrup added just right. 👉🏼 Charcoal Latte Can be better, feel like powder is over, while drinking feel the coffee is coarse. Powder taste.

Environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chill, cozzy, quiet, numerous of photo corners.
