Grand Indians Kitchen — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

I'm have gone there for lunch with family. We followed the crowd waited in the line to order our meal. While I was waiting for my turn never once I heard waiter behind the counter offered 'Set Meal' to anyone.When it came to my turn, the waiter asked me to choose dishes with already plate of rice in his hand. Fast forward, now i went to the counter to pay for the meals we ate. Checking the receipt , I saw our meals quoted as "Set Meals" and charged and also there were separate charges for dishes we took. Out of curiosity , I asked the lady behind the cash counter, why the price quoted separately as set meal and also separate charges for dishes we took and why the waiter did not offer us set meal in 1st place instead told to choose our dishes? To my suprise the lady confidently told me , it's impossible that the waiter did not opt us for set meal. For matter of fact none of my family members went there on that day could remember waiter opt for set meal. Even there was a another customer who paid before me came to my aid and supported my claims.When the lady called the waited who served us , for clarification , he lied blatantly. Either they found new trick and overcharge the customers or they really need to train their staffs and supervise them....

I am regular customer over there.. But I found now the restaurant service and food quality out.. It's nice but the price so so expensive than a hotel I guess. Veg set meal +1 but nothing only rice and curry with papadam is rm6? The rest all change accordingly plate? Than more shocking part Maggi goreng with egg is rm11.90 plus rm2.00 for the egg.. If its ok never mind but the egg contains big egg shell and when asked them they said replace it and when wants to pay wanted to charge pulak.. Aikk it's my fault?? 😳Come on la I think I ate alot of luxury restaurant too but the price is not that expensive.. I and my sis ate but the bill is rm48.40????this is so ridiculous I can't effort this.. Come on la I know it's indian shop but eat in Chinese shop also not that expensive I guess... Try to discuss and try change ur pricing.. If this way u will lost many customer.. 😡The service very bad tak layan langsung.. Bell also still have time to chit chat?? Must call several times for ask for order.. See the surrounding just 4 table and all eating.. Need that much time to talk?? Or boss never give them rest time is it?? Really feel so disappointed to eat there.. Will never...

They try their best to finish the prepared rice meals (for lunch) eventho it’s 4/5pm. No sign boards mentioning no other food is served. Ordered vegetarian rice meal, charged as per usual, but there was only white rice, curry and one vege ????? Why is it charged per usual vegetarian meal pricing ? Got one non vegetarian meal ( rice, sambar, chicken masala ), chicken wasn’t fresh at all, maybe because it was cooked much earlier that day ? Tried to order normal teh tarik, waiter said not available, tried to sell us some weird Masala Teh Tarik which was about RM8 but tasted horrible af. Ordered tosai, waiter said not available, but barely 10 mins later the table next to us was served w tosai ???? Got us parata, it was sooo small ?? For the price customers pay, the food they consume, the ambience, the taste and everything else matters. We don’t mind paying extra for all the above mentioned if it was great, but the service here has clearly deteriorated...
