I had an amazing experience where I indulged in their Thai-style Krapow Minced Chicken Rice paired with Malaysian Kopi.
Krapow Minced Chicken Rice: The Krapow Minced Chicken Rice was exceptional. The minced chicken was perfectly seasoned with fragrant Thai basil, creating a symphony of flavors. Served on a bed of fluffy jasmine rice and topped with a fried egg, each bite was a burst of savory goodness. Portion size was generous and left me thoroughly satisfied.
Malaysian Kopi: The Malaysian Kopi was a delightful companion to the meal. Rich and robust, with just the right amount of sweetness from the condensed milk, it perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the Krapow Minced Chicken Rice. Served piping hot, it was a comforting and delicious beverage choice.
Ambiance and Service: The restaurant’s ambiance was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my meal. I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
Would I Return? Absolutely! I can’t wait to return to explore more of their menu and enjoy another round of Krapow Minced Chicken Rice with...
Read moreLove that they have an extensive menu of local Asian delights like nasi lemak with fried chicken, beef hor fun, pad thai and krapow minced meat rice with egg! We also ordered the kaya butter toast and fell in love with their rich, aromatic kaya that's made in-house. Drinks like their signature Huai Heong Kopi, cham and teh are also very good and kaw.
We also tabaoed their kaya kok and egg tarts and after reheating in the oven for 8mins at 160 degrees the next day, they still taste good! The Kaya kok pastry is flaky and the egg tart is nicely crumbly and buttery - both are not too sweet!
Staff are very attentive and welcoming. Air-conditioning is strong - which is such a blessing on a hot day. Both dining area and the toilets are clean and well-maintained. Plenty of parking (unsheltered) available around this cafe. There's also free wifi.
Is a pleasant place to visit with friends or family to chit chat and chill over coffee and toast. Can get quite busy...
Read moreSunday, I was craving wanton noodles, my favorite breakfast dish. Unfortunately, all the wonton outlets were closed due to the Sunday holiday. I hopped into a restaurant, hoping they might have wanton noodles. A gracious staff member informed me it would take a few minutes, then ran to the kitchen to coordinate with the team. Soon, she returned with a wonderful wonton dish, which wasn't even on the menu but was custom-made for me.
I was truly amazed by this level of service. Having a background in hospitality, I rarely see restaurants go the extra mile like Huai Heong. I highly recommend this place. It's clean, serves amazing coffee drinks, and has a very nice team that always greets you with a smile. I feel like I'm treated like a 5-star customer.
I wish you all the best and know you've got a loyal customer.
Highly recommend...
