Authentic and delicious Turkish food offered by this restaurant which has become my new found favourite place to get my cravings for Middle Eastern food cravings fixed!! Place has comfortable seating and food comes in generous portions for sharing and dining with family and friends.
This place specialises in Pide (pea-day) which resembles a kind of Pizza and grilled meats. Pide is freshly made on the spot upon ordering and it’s delicious. One Pide is good to share with 3 and with crispy crust like a thin-crust pizza. We ordered the Pide Kiymali Peynirli (RM55) as recommended by the friendly staff and it was a great choice!
We also ordered the Dürüm Tavuk (XL) which is good for two provided you have other sharing sides. The chicken is wonderfully flavoured which is worth going back for.
The Hummus is decent though I wished there’s stronger tahini flavour and more oil as it’s a little on the drier side though it’s fluffy. Read morePide Pide is a real gem for Turkish cuisine lovers. We had the freshly made vegetarian dips "Mezes", Muhammara (Red pepper and walnut paste dip), Haydari (yoghurt and cheese dip with mint), Mangal Salata (smoked eggplants and peppers salad) and Kabakli Yoghurt (Zucchini, yoghurt and walnut dip) which were amazing. Try the "Icli Kofte", a hot starter, a real classic Turkish Meze, minced beef and a secret recipe Bulgur coating and fried to perfection. As mains we had "Pide" and "Durum", Pide Kusbasi which the restaurant takes its name from, long oval flat breads very similar to pizza, with toppings of beef. The chef makes the finish by spreading some butter on the sides of a hot, freshly baked Pide which gives its unique characteristics and makes it an authentic classic. All the Kebaps in Pide Pide are to die for: Adana Kebap is one of the most popular classics made of fine quality beef minced with spices and cooked on a special lava stone grill and wrapped together with special condiments in a hand made thin wrap. Those who can't eat spicy food might prefer Urfa kebap which is exactly the same Kebap but...
