The Vine Cafe: A Sunway Citrine Gem for Casual Comfort
Nestled near Sunway Citrine, The Vine Cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The cafe's lovely ambiance makes it a great spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a solo lunch break.
While I didn't delve into their pastry selection this time, their savory options impressed. For a creamy and satisfying experience, I highly recommend the Alfredo pasta. For a unique twist, try their signature Luok dish – I won't spoil the surprise, but it's definitely worth exploring! The portion sizes were decent, and the classic French Fries were a perfect accompaniment.
The service at The Vine Cafe was exceptionally fast. My order arrived promptly, allowing me to savor the meal without a long wait. While I didn't try any beverages on this visit, their menu likely offers a variety of coffees, teas, and other refreshments.
With prices hovering around RM 60 and above, The Vine Cafe falls into the moderate price range. However, the quality of the food and the efficient service justify the cost.
Additionally, the cafe is wheelchair accessible, making it a great option for everyone.
Overall, The Vine Cafe is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a warm and welcoming spot to enjoy delicious and satisfying comfort food. I highly recommend...
Read moreCame on a sat night and it had a small crowd. Thankfully there are still seats so we didn’t have to wait.
Ordered the signature laksa, Braised Minced tofu and mushroom noodles and Ork Luak.
Serving was generous for our dishes. I saw the soup on the next table and it probably can feed 2! Laksa is closer to Asam laksa soup base with no coconut milk. The Sous egg was splendid! Perfectly done. Slightly watery but doesn’t go all over the place. The minced mushroom noodles had a slight sour ish taste to it. It’s to my liking. I don’t fancy the ork luak (not surprising. I don’t fancy the real ork luak too) but my husband liked it. He said it was a good balance of crispiness and oiliness.
Oh, I had a last min add of Yuzu Rose. It comes with a biodegradable rice straw. First time using such a straw.
Price is on the steeper side but would still recommend to give it a try if you are...
Read moreVisited this little gem of a vegetarian cafe today for lunch. It was a very pleasant experience and worth visiting again. The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet and tastefully decorated with comfortable seating lighting and A/C set at right level. An unobtrusive but eclectic mix of background music all added up to a nice place to eat and enjoy good food. The service was very friendly and helpful and the menu was full of innovative and clever vegetarian dishes in an Asian style. Our food arrived all freshly prepared and surprisingly looking exactly like the photos in the menu. It was all tasty and beautifully presented. Parking was directly outside and the whole meal was reasonably priced. It is evident a lot of effort has gone into creating a pleasant relaxed eating experience for its customers - it works - well done - thank you for a top meal - we will...
