Prawn meat already soft).Served last. 7.Fish (Sweet sour taste not nice at all,fish not cooked freshly and crispy).Sauce cold.Serve second last. 8.Fruit dessert was not bad.

This place easily beats 北京楼, Dragon-i, Canton-i and Din tai fung hands down. The food is so much better, meat and fish is also more succulent and the price is also more affordable.

I think it's really a pity because this place is easily the best Chinese restaurant out of the four during our 3d2n trip in JB. The restaurant is old school and perhaps may have lagged behind in marketing and staying relevant in this digital day and age.

I visited Cathay Restaurant's Taman Molek branch for a celebration gathering to welcome my sister's newborn baby. Having been to Cathay before, I was excited to try their food again. This time, the food was delightful, with generous portions that were perfect for sharing among our group of 13.
