I don't understand why the place is called Soon Fatt when clearly, the signboard spells "Soon Sheong". Has there been a change in management? The place is oddly empty, with only one family eating there when we arrived. We ordered the classic bak kut teh, taufoo pok and braised pig trotters. Having read the review by our local "Auntie Boleh" when she did a foodie review on it a month back, we were quite taken aback and disappointed with the food. There was no fish dishes, no veggy dishes and the bak kut teh and braised pork trotters tasted just "ordinary". Nothing unique or outstanding for us to remember them by. Order arrived but was suprised that the BKT given has VERY little soup .Immediately i asked for a soup top up and was shock when the boss told us they don have enuf soup( but they kept receiving new order from walk-in). I told them how can we eat wz such a little soup and the boss told me they will "try" to provide more soup.
So we patiently waited 20mins for the soup but it never came. We were not even being informed and they just kept us waiting..We are then forced to eat the DRY and COLD BKT.. Just becoz they want to earn more, they took in more ppl without even considering if they even have enuf soup to spare . Indeed...
