I tend to agree with most reviewers when they mention that echoes in the dining hall poses a distinct irritation to diners. Everything you talk about gets echoed all around and thus diners just couldn't interact when they are dining together. Decor is very simple, neat and organized. Ordered their salmon shashimi. Fish slices are fresh and delicious I ordered their sukiyaki pot - a dish which many Japanese restaurants do not offer. It is a bit pricey(rm51 for one person) but the taste is sweet and the meat is fresh. Overall, don't come during peak hours because they are shorthanded. Service can be a bit slow and requests for shoyu, wasabi or ginger slices might take a wee bit longer as the servers struggle with orders, serving, payment and cleaning up tables. Read moreEnvironment: Feel spacious and clean. I particular like the compartmental partition as it give more privacy. But need to have the bell system to call for attendant.
Food Quality: My dad and my wife said Sashimi very fresh and tasty. I guess that is most important. As for myself, i eat the Katsu don and Udon which is good as well. Maybe the bowl that being used is small hence giving the impression of small portion serving.
Price: I feel reasonable enough. For 4 variant of Sashimi about rm5x, my Katsudon about rm1x, Kari Udon about RM1x, i feel reasonable enough.
Area of improvement: Like i mentioned earlier, need to work on attendant system. As you sit in partition, it is hard to call for notice. My set came with soup but i wasn't provide with spoon. No tissue/serviette given which to me is outmost basic. But all these being attended when requested so no big deal.
I'll...

The food we ordered are good and simple. Nothing amazing or poorly done. We had our dinner at 7pm, the restaurant wasn't packed, yet the service is slow. Feels like a home based restaurant.
Despite it being a Japanese restaurant, it serves Mala food options, such as steamboat. And the white rice don't seem Japanese rice to us.
The salmon head is good, left a good...
