Avoid This Place at All Costs – Terrible Experience!
Horrible Service: The waitress was extremely rude from the start. We politely asked if the mee hun kueh soup’s egg could be fully cooked, and she responded with impatience and attitude. She clearly confirmed it would be a whole egg, but when served, half of it was scrambled (蛋花). False advertising much?
Wrong Order & Dishonest Portions: We ordered a bowl with 12 pieces (fish paste, meat paste, fu zhu)—but received only 4 fish balls and 2 tiny meat pastes. When we pointed out the mistake, the waitress didn’t apologize and angrily took the bowl back. The "corrected" order was even worse: Fish paste was cut into ridiculously small pieces (like teaspoon-sized scraps). Meat paste was shrunk to a laughable size. It’s obvious they cheated on portions—either to save costs or out of sheer laziness.
Disgusting, Over-Salted Soup: The broth tasted like pure MSG—unbearably salty with no depth of flavor. Cheap and unhealthy.
Filthy, Fly-Infested Environment: The place was crawling with flies—zero regard for hygiene. If they can’t even keep the dining area clean, how can they handle food safely?
Final Thoughts: Overpriced, low-quality food, dishonest practices, and terrible service. You’re better off eating anywhere else - even instant noodles at home would be a better meal. Never coming back.

I don't understand why the owner still do not use bilingual menu (mainly chinese and ENGLISH) as this should be the normal standard for all cafes, and for the sake of those banana people and other ethnics who don't really knows how to read chinese! I don’t think the owner can be so naïve to think or expect everyone reads Chinese when patronize the shop. This part is rather disappointing due to the unthoughtfulness.
The physical setup is really bright, lit up and neat. Feels comfortable dine in. Their signature pan mee is flavourful and do not stint on the ingredients like sweet leaf and fried anchovies which are the main complementary ingredients to the noodles.
The belacan sauce is really hot and spicy and those having hot chili intolerance try taking small dip to test your spicy-ness level.
The chives fried pancake (we managed to order this side dish since we saw quite a lot of tables orders it and we just asked the waiter to get one of those) is something unusually available nowadays in a café or restaurant. The pancake is thin hence it is crispy to eat. Moreover, it has generous...
