BAAN &Co. (Formerly known as Carabao Thai Restaurant - Stulang) — Restaurant in Johor

To the actual owner of this restaurant, don't be so stingy to spend some money to hire good workers. Your current workers are made up of mostly Indonesian nationals. The old Indonesian lady who's stationed at the cashier counter, she knows nothing about liaising with the customers. Even after I've written down the list of items I wanted to order, she still couldn't understand neither heads nor tails. She summoned a young man to take down my order. And, as it's been pointed out by another patron, the old, Indonesian lady doesn't speak or understand English at all. Us, the customers simply can't communicate with her.

As for the young man, now this guy really have a horrible and disgusting attitude. I'm not sure if he's Malaysian or Indonesian. But, that doesn't really matter.

Upon entering the restaurant, nobody greeted us. The same young man saw us but pretended to not see us walking into the restaurant. No smiles and whatnot. It's almost as if he's not happy to see us walking to the table and sat ourselves down.

When it's time to take down the order, the old Indonesian lady was seated/hiding behind the cashier's counter. I had to yell out: "Order please!"

Then only she came out and it turned out, she didn't know how to take down the order.

When the food was served, the same Indonesian young man almost slammed down the plates of food on my dining table.

I almost lost my cool looking at his disgusted behavior and attitude. If these people really aren't interested in the job that they've been given, just resign and let someone else work at the restaurant.

As the owner of the restaurant, you shouldn't be keeping these deadbeats at the restaurant any longer.

Reserved a table at the newer Stulang branch for 8 pax for a special occasion. Upon arrival, i was told reservation could not be honoured due to some mix up. We were unhappy but settled for a smaller table of 6 (squeezed) to avoid any unpleasantness. Subsequently we noticed there were (probably) VIPs that our table was given up for. Serving staff ignored us, no menu book was given and we were continuously ignored by waitresses insipte of trying to get their attention JUST for the menu. Half and hour later we left. It was embarassing and humiliating. We also discovered the cake we gave the kitchen was chucked on the floor. The supervisor/ manager whom I made the reservation with was Christina and she could have just called me to let me know to not come,to avoid this embarrassment. My family and I was disappointing with the food! We ordered the following foods for Hari Raya celebrity. The price is slightly higher compare with other Thai Food restaurant. I personally feel not worth with the price with these tasteless food.

Before i book, i was being informed by the person in charge that the restaurant will close at 9p.m. Therefore i book 7p.m. On that day about 6.30p.m, the girl inform me that today restaurant will close early at 8p.m. I get shocked and really not satisfy with their last minute informed!
