Eleven Kitchen — Restaurant in Johor

I was at a nearby mall when I decided to eat somewhere quieter. I googled for halal food nearby and found Eleven Kitchen, a halal Chinese restaurant which I thought why not for a change. I didn't expect the place to be very "old-school" with traditional cultery, seats, decor and vibes. We ordered the Sayang set which consisted of Fried seabass 3 rasa, strifried kailan and, omelette. We ordered xtra dimsum cos we wanted to try. For only RM49, the set was super worth it cos the fish was quite big and the 3 rasa sauce was tasty. The rest were just ok. The teh C tasted like hong Kong milk tea. Nothing to complain. Love the ambiance. Very quiet. A good place for lepak especially...

Went for weekend lunch at Eleven Kitchen (Chinese halal) in Johor. Seating was available, and ordering via QR code was quick and easy. We had sweet sour fish, kung bao beef, kway teow beef, dim sum, coffee boss, and ice lemon tea. Service was prompt and staff attentive — they even provided serving plates on request. The sweet sour fish was the star: crispy outside, tender inside with flavorful sauce. Kway teow was smooth and well-balanced, dim sum above average, and drinks refreshing. Tried ginger chicken, salted fish tauge and fried squid. Ginger chicken was okay. Tauge okay okay. But the sotong is waste of money. Its not fresh squid, instead the packet one; rubbery ring squid. Couldn't eat it at all and I think it was fried using the adabi cucur flour. It didn't tasted like squid at all and really disappointed with it. Maybe other foods are okay but the fried squid is...
