The space itself exudes a cozy, nostalgic charm, perfectly blending vintage movie posters, rustic wooden furniture, and music-inspired decor like a hanging guitar and retro stereo system. Soft lighting, rattan chairs, and touches of greenery complete the atmosphere, creating a laid-back and soulful environment that feels both personal and thoughtfully curated. It’s exactly the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be present.

The food here truly lives up to the vibe, flavorful, and comforting.

Creamy Buttermilk Golden Chicken Spaghetti: This dish was a standout. The buttermilk boasts a rich, golden yellow hue, unlike the usual pale versions you often find elsewhere. It’s thick, buttery, and clings beautifully to the noodles, offering a wonderfully satisfying mouthfeel with every bite. The golden chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender and juicy inside, providing just the right contrast to the creamy pasta. A bold, comforting dish that left a lasting impression.

Sesame Chicken Rice: A wholesome and flavorful dish reflecting a clear Malay-Chinese fusion influence. The sesame chicken was coated in a glossy, slightly sweet glaze with a nutty aroma that paired beautifully with the warm white rice. What really elevated this dish was the sambal paste, it featured strong, punchy notes of halia, giving it a spicy kick that immediately boosted the appetite. This wasn’t your average sambal, it felt like a unique house blend with character. The accompanying soup was savory and full-bodied, not just a bland side but a well-thought complement to round out the meal. A balanced, satisfying plate that perfectly hits both comfort and flavor cravings.

Es Kopi Cincau: A refreshing and smooth drink with well-balanced sweetness. The cincau added a pleasant texture, making it more enjoyable than your typical iced coffee. However, it was served with less ice, it didn’t turn out as cold as I hoped, so it lacked that extra chill factor you’d usually expect. Still tasty, but next time I might opt for more ice to get that full refreshing kick.

Biscoff Cheesecake: The perfect way to end the meal. Creamy and rich without being overly sweet, the cheesecake featured that distinct Biscoff flavor with a nicely textured biscuit base adding just enough crunch. A satisfying dessert that felt indulgent without being too heavy.

Overall, this cafe checks all the boxes! Great ambience, and memorable food. Every detail, from the decor to the menu, feels intentional. Whether you’re here to catch up with friends, get lost in your own thoughts over a coffee, or just take a break from the noise of the outside world, it’s a place that makes you...

Nice place to have your comfort meal. The coffees was freshly grind upon order.

Strawberry Cheesecake - 4/5 Although it taste like using yogurt, thus it tasted more likely strawberry yogurt than strawberry cheesecake. But the taste was pleasant and not too sweet.

Asian Dolce Latte - 4/5 it has light taste of espresso and the dolce sauce they use taste similar like S*s but the coffee's not.

Coke Float - 5/5 My husband rate this since it's his drink.

Mushroom Soup and Garlic Bread - 2/5 Garlic bread is ok. Garlic spread is delish. But mushroom soup is a failure when it's completely the taste of full cream milk, very milky and thick, overshadowed mushroom flavour. Even my 6y.o said that it is milk soup.

Curry Mee - 3/5 Ordinary flavour of curry mee. Nothing special.

Fries (Loaded maybe, forgot its name) - 5/5 The best menu we've tried that day. Even though a bit soggy but still have a great taste of spices. Definitely will order this again 👍🏼

Kaya Toast - 2/5 Not pleasant for me.

Overall this place got nice ambience to dine. However not a place to chilling or hangouts, their stools are not comfortable enough for long period. Staffs and cashier are not customer friendly also cause unease feelings...

Coffee: Generally tastes soooo good for me. My fav is caramel macchiato. Bitter-sweet is balanced very well, unlike most cafes that makes it too sweet. Flavoured coffee (hazelnut, caramel, etc) is more bitter than sweet. Need add syrup if you prefer sweet. Oh and they have oat milk options!

Main course: The buttermilk rice? Theirs is the best. So far nobody can beat them imo. Creamy tomyam pasta seafood is surprisingly a great combination between western and local taste. It got me crave for more. Supermac is crazy delicious. Again, the combination is amazing. Loaded fries is good too. I never taste the mee bandung but my father loves it. Spaghetti ayam percik, carbonara, thai, bolognese, nasi lemak pandan are so-so. Variety desert options. Blueberry cake isn't very good to me, but the choc one does. Toasts and croissants got so much fillings. I love it.

Staf service: Greetings when you enter and out. Attend to customers' inquiries with a proper manner. i personally never see a moody expression even during peak hour. I hope y'all get paid well because you're maintaining a good vibe here

Atmosphere: a bit hot depends on where you're sitting because it's half open. cozy...

For food, we ordered three dishes: Nasi Lemak with Chicken, Curry Mee, and Buttermilk Chicken Rice. The nasi lemak was slightly soft, possibly just freshly cooked, but very delicious. The sambal was spicy with a hint of sweetness, which is perfect for a nasi lemak dish. It also came with peanuts, cucumber, and a boiled egg, which was great. As for the Curry Mee, if you’re looking for the taste of traditional Curry Mee with modern plating, Kelab Kopi is the place to visit. The broth was rich, and the portion was generous, justifying the cafe pricing. Lastly, the Buttermilk Chicken Rice — if it’s your first time trying Buttermilk Chicken, you will love the flavorful buttermilk sauce, the strong aroma of curry leaves, and the creamy richness of the dish. Overall, for a well-known cafe in Batu Pahat, we highly recommend it to you.
