It's our first time in JB and this is the worse experience ever. This McDonald's is probably the worst branch out there. I've been to several countries and it's my go-to food but that will now change because of the bad experience here.
Firstly, I ordered and paid my food. I got a number so they will serve my food but it didn't come! They did not prepared my food even after a loooong wait. My friend almost finished her food and I thought I need to follow up so I did. I was shocked to see that they aren't preparing my food that was readily available there. My order is only Nasi Lemak and fries, nothing fancy they need a long time to prepare. 😬 Also, there's not much customers so you'd think you can get your order quickly (I guess the service is the reason why).
No one talked to me and said something when I followed up, they just got my receipt and they just talked among themselves, laughing and joking around. No sorry or whatever, most of them side eyed me too. 😩
Before I followed up, some staff just passed by me on the table and most likely saw the number on the table but didn't bother to ask about my order. Meanwhile, I saw them ask other people about their orders when they saw they have a number. Ridiculous.
I've never felt racism stronger than ever and it's here, in a McDonald's branch which is a multi-country company.
I don't recommend this branch. Bad service and attitude of staff are not pleasant. I am not even sure if there's a manager around because why do things like this happen when in fact, everything was automated when I ordered...
Read moreNice specious Mac resturents.. However worst management and services.. Throughout the world Macdonalds is popular due to their fast service and ready to go meal. The menue and price is fixed you just come ..pay..and pick that is their ideology... however not in here ... tooo slow services... on a weekend sunday morning at 10am i and lot others are waiting for their order.. atleast 8-10 people are working that time at the resturent.. only 1 taking order from drive through and serving their.. our counter girl shahina/ shahira became busy with servicing the coffee machine... other people and coming and going working back .. laughing .. 3 person working to prepare burger (usually 1 is enough for that) 1 person doing the fry/chips.. another person doing the sausage fry ... manager is putting things into 2 family box .. that can easily done by the girl who take the order.. (another wastage of manpower by the manager/supervisor herself) ... when i ask the girl who is doing nothing but helping the two person assembling burger ... ''can you please take the order.. lot of people waiting in the line''.. she said ...''shahira take order...'' such a stupid attitude... i am not sure they have their training properly or not...
Me and the other people are also talking about their poor service management ... even while laughing at them together i become friend with another man waiting on the same line with me ...

The restaurant are kept very well maintained and clean throughout. . Only one small problem on the day I visited there is the cash counter. I was puzzled with the cashier on duty. During attending to my payment, the cashier did some serving to other diners whilst I was left standing in front of the cash counter. Adding to that, I presume every staff of McDonald should already understand how to handle the cash register. I notice there are some problem accounted because the cashier keeps calling other staff what to do next. I did inquire whether is there any problem. The cashier said everything are going well but I have to stand there for almost 15 minutes before payment is completed. .
