Medan Selera Tanjung Emas — Restaurant in Johor

This place has lost its luster. Once upon a time, this place was vibrant with good food and friendly sellers. But now, no more.

Many stalls are closed on Friday which is weird because Friday is off day in Johor. Food are not good. Ordered mi bandung, ABC and lai chee kang from Stall No.5. Mi bandung gravy was too sweet. ABC is below average. Ordered rojak tauhu and rojak petis from a stall at the other end. Portion and taste were pathetic for both menu. Customer service at both stalls are poor. No smiles and polite welcome. Just sour face to customers.

The other thing that has changed is that you are no longer free to seat anywhere like how it used to be. You must seat at the tables located in front of the stalls you would like to order your food from.

Overall, I would not return to this place. Food and customer service quality have dropped tremendously since the old times. No longer a nice place to chill and...

Saya baru pergi sebulan lepas, saya pergi stall yang ada plague jjcm, tapi service sangat teruk. asam pedas dia dah so-so , tak sesedap macam dulu dulu, i been eating there since i was 16 years old, now i dah 28 never ever miss asam pedas muar kat kedai tu, but now i rasa asam pedas dia tak sesedap dulu and service dia sangat sangat teruk, at first i thought ohh ramai orang datang since public holiday so service dia kurang memuaskan, the upcoming week i pergi semula, same thing happen , service sangat teruk, apa maksud i service teruk is bila i sampai usually we will go direct to the stall and inform kita nak jenis ikan mana satu, then we bring to our table, then we take our own rice, then later someone will come to take order for drinks, tapi takde pun sesiapa layan, we have to call few times, everytime panggil mesti akan dapat akak duduk dulu nanti kita datang dalam keadaan muka marah, i macam i datang tak bawak duit ke, i can pay the foods and drinks, last last nasi tinggal suku baru datang amik order air, my sister order mee bandung, last last tak datang langsung, last last she eat asam pedas also, then bila nak bayar pulak, same thing happen, we have to call 3 times just to make payment while the staff duduk borak and buat muka kerek ( i masih ingat that girl muka kerek gila)walaupun time tu dah tak ramai orang di kedai. Not first time macam ni, 2nd time already, so i rasa kedai yang ada plague jjcm tu dah tak relevant, jjcm pun dah tak wujud, that was like 10-15 years ago mereka receive. Now quality and service pun dah teruk, i rasa ada tempat lain lagi better dari this places. I tak sure stall lain since i tak pernah try stall lain, i always go direct to stall yang ada...

Stall owners seem to have some kind of attitude. If u sit in front of stall no x, u must order from stall no x only. Someone ordered from another stall and this guy sternly told her to sit elsewhere. What the heck is going on here? Why are they acting so kiasu? Aren't the benches provided by the local govt? Mana boleh buat macam ni! It's a food court, for goodness sake! You should be able to sit at any table u want. The service sucks too.. the guy at this one stall serves with a sour face. Attitude macam gangster. Somebody needs to do...
