Cok Cai Yan Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Was there around 8am. Mouth watering food esp the mixed rice and veggies and other vegetarian dishes. Chee cheong fun, bak kut teh etc available too. Good ambience, good vibes with service oriented staff. Despite busy with customers, they were able to maintain their cool composure and still polite with happy vibes to serve customers. Parking at road shoulder /road side at the entrance or across the road at designated parking space at shop lots. Recommended. Love the take away soon kueh, with fillings of carrots, yam bean and crushed peanuts and tasty ,slightly spicy filling...

Heard this is the first vegetarian restaurant in Muar with 30 years of operation. The staff are mainly aged, service can be quite slow but their are all very friendly. The menu here is more on the classic authentic side nothing too fancy or modern, the cooking skills is good - eefu noodle is very well cooked!

We can find traces of history from the decoration of the restaurant, from chinese calligraphy to the old certificates, it is as though we are transfer back...
