A typical grocery run turned mini road trip. Decided to keep going straight to Kluang to try the famous Beef Noodles at Old Pasar Kopitiam. 130km drive, with 30km going through the small roads cutting through Palm plantations. Therapeutic. Accompanied by Bob Segar, CCR, Willie Nelson. Anticipating the bowl of Bovine goodness. Managed to find a parking lot near the coffeeshop. Game on. Game off!!! Gawdamit! Stall was closed. The Rumble in the Bronx was loud. The anger and disappointment was just as obvious. So, I walked out of the coffeeshop, head hung low, and dragged my sorry arsed feet to the car and drove around, and bam! I saw the word "牛". I is need 牛s, by hook or by crook. No Vegan lines will hold me back. Be injured or have some Beef shoved down your throat. I'm a very hungry and angry Singaporean. Ordered the Special Shortrib and Mix, a bowl of white rice, and a cuppa. Since Kluang is rather known for their coffee. Kena bluff. Instant coffee tastes similar. The order came and boy, was I happy. First spoon of the broth, and I know for sure, the Steer died for a good cause. It tasted like a watery Beef Stew. With tonnes of fried Shallots and freshly chopped green onions, man. The flavors were as good as Charlie pooping Skittles. Angels blaring their trumpets too. The Short rib was slide off the bone. Brisket was oh so tender. Tripes were ... tripey? Tendons were gelatinous, which I really loved. Them Beefballs were ok. Nothing to shout about. Chili dip was POWER! Coming from someone who knows no limit in chili heat, it was definitely a lot spicier than most places selling Beef Noodles in Singapore. So, you've been warned. Its tartness helps breakdown the grease in the soup, from the Beef fats. Shiok I tells you. Because of this place and the food, all the negatives were canceled. Fruitful trip, fatty tummy. Done! Damage was RM39.30. Add another RM12.00 for a two person sharing portion. I'll do just that when I next visit Kluang, but I'll still need to try the originally intended place first.

Love to have beef since young. Actually love the breef noodle soup but this is 2nd place in my heart. 1st place already no longer exist in Batu Pahat....Anyway that is another story. I am a soup person. Whatever soup I will normally request for refill of soup and this beef noodle soup also the same. I am the customer here since it open the branch in Kluang many years back. Food wise no complaint but the price is a bit high.... no small bowl but regular that need RM12 and after adding on tax will become RM12.70.... if the price is less then I will be coming more often but don't think the shop needs me as from the sale tax we know the business is pretty good

located along one of the more popular streets, so parking might be a challenge during peak meal hours. find yourself a table, grab a menu, & the friendly efficient staff would be coming by shortly to take your orders. we had the claypot beef ribs & a regular beef soup. oooh.. both were so flavourful! loved how meaty the ribs were, & how well they went with their chilli for an extra kick. on hind sight, just the claypot would have been enough to feed the both of us, that's how generous the portions are. this place is filled with locals who all seemed to have their personal favourites. they also serve chicken dishes as well for those who don't wanna have beef 😋

Here is my dad's favourite beef noodles place. We went there on Friday (CNY day 4) around 1.30pm. The weather was really hot outside and it was almost fully seated inside but we were lucky enough to get a table. Although all the staff were really busy serving and cleaning, they managed to greet with smiles, quickly arrange seats for customers and even say thank you to customers when they were leaving. I personally love their chilies and kuey teow. Soup could be quite salty sometimes but still we prefer this branch over the original tangkak beef noodles. Also, they do serve good curry chicken rice and other options for people who don't eat beef. Their service is surprisingly good during busy times. However, there is no conditioning and it could be really stuffy inside during sunny days, so normally we will leave right after finish eating...
