Not bad. Herbal soup but not very strong. Can taste the influence of the Singapore style pepper bak kut teh.
Yam rice is excellent. Would be good by itself without the bak kut teh even.
Meat is okay, pretty tender. Isn't infused with flavour though.
Expected slightly higher standard than this. Cannot beat ah sang bak kut teh in KL though. That is the standard to beat.
Hot water to top up your tea is in a charcoal heated kettle. Nice and quaint old school style.
