Very bad experience having dinner in this restaurant… first of all, service. I have 9 adults plus 4 kids…
Firstly, we ordered 7 dishes (small) plus two braised yee mee (for kids) via WhatsApp… then they tell me 7 small dishes not enough for 9 adults because their small only for 2 person… then fine la.. since the staff say so… I change 3 dishes from small to large lor… then they all still show beh song face to me… another thing I dun like about their service… if u dun order set.. then the staff tell me ur dishes need another 45 minutes to cook… my first question to the restaurant owner - then why ask me order via WhatsApp? Might as well I go there only order la… finally they serve dish within 20 minutes… so what is the purpose you trying to make customer feel bad about your service? moreover, their waitress serve dish.. hotpot dish can collide my daughter’s chair… how if those dish pour out on my daughter? The restaurant is spacious ya… not those tight tight seats one….
Second thing, portion…. I dunno la whether those reviews in Google genuine or not… portion for large size dish not even meet the standard.. I ordered salted egg squid… u know what I get… those pieces like cut here n there balances used up on my dish… all their photos showing squid ring okay? And I ordered large size ya… not small…appropriate or not??? Braised yee mee rm15 worse than the one I ordered at hawker stall.. portion small until three spoon i can finish up the whole plate..
Taste wise, only the salted egg lotus and the yam ring okay lor.. otherwise really so so only… ending up eat with their beh song face concluded RM380… no prawn, no actual fish (only curry fish head with totally head) and no other expensive food…
Sorry to say, no second visit from my family… for those who plan to eat there.. think properly lo… if u want to order small size then they will give u...
Read moreSituated at hidden shoplot opposite main road across Aeon Balakong (C180), plenty of parking though. Advisable to call for table booking especially during weekends or public holiday as got limited table and usually quite crowded. The waiter was very patient and professional in giving advice and restaurant was very clean and air-con. Ordered their Steamed Giant Grouper in soy sauce and tasted exquisite in Hong Kong style. Their stewed abalone with fish maw/sea cucumber platter deserved 5 star rating as still preserve authentic old style cooking way, riched with scallop and dried squid aroma. Stewed lamb with fuk chok was served with antique recipe (lamb meat was tender). Chicken roasted in the best timing with preserved juicy layering chicken meat while skin was extremely crispy. Their stir fry mix nut with celery and lotus was excellent, celery extraordinally crunchy. Then their while tofu was cut into very fine slice dip in mince pork and mushroom gravy, presenting different layering of taste. Complimentary chilled longan with sea coconut was served. Price was ok and there are many more...
Read moreNot even worth a star 🙂 Firstly I asked her do you have the 玉蘭雞 ? She said, everything on the menu we have. Then we ordered the chicken. After waited for 15minutes, another staff came to us and said that the chicken was sold out. We were like ??? Replaced the chicken with a steam fish, waited for another 30minutes. Ended up the fish was not fresh.
Captain upstairs was so impolite, when we told her the fish was not fresh she didn’t even bother to respond. So rude!
Pricey food, not fresh dishes, bad service. Conclusion no next time. Please reconsider if you want...
