I recently visited Dynasty Nyonya, a newly opened gem at Cheras Trader Square (opened in November 2024), and I must say, it’s a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! This restaurant offers an authentic taste of Nyonya cuisine, and every dish we tried was truly satisfying.
The highlight of my meal was the vendor cendol and bobochacha. The cendol stood out with its rich and flavorful gula Melaka and creamy santan, making it one of the best I’ve had in a long time. As someone who appreciates cendol with quality ingredients, this one hit all the right notes. The bobochacha was equally delightful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture.
We also tried the curry noodle, nasi lemak, and fried chicken, all of which were packed with flavor. The curry noodle was aromatic and hearty, the nasi lemak came with fragrant coconut rice and flavorful sambal, and the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Every bite was a treat!
The dining area is cozy and comfortable, making it a great spot for a meal with family or friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to serve, which added to the overall positive experience.
While some items on the menu are slightly pricier than average, the quality and taste make it worth the splurge. If you’re in the Cheras area and craving delicious Nyonya food, Dynasty Nyonya is definitely worth a visit. Highly...
Read moreVisited a few weeks ago after spotting their menu while eating sushi next door—it looked interesting, so we decided to give it a try. We came in the morning and were lucky to find a parking spot easily.
We ordered Bihun Siam, toast, soft boiled eggs, and drinks. The Bihun Siam was a pleasant surprise—it came as a set at a very affordable price. The taste reminded me of Bihun Siam from places like Oriental Kopi, which has a more "luxurious" flavour. Personally, I prefer the simpler, roadside Malay-style taste, but that’s just my own preference.
The side dishes were decent—the soup wasn’t heavy on flavour but felt refreshing. Their lobak was unique with a yellowish tint and a taste that’s quite different from the usual version.
The toast was okay—made with gula Melaka kaya instead of pandan. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but they were generous with the butter slice. The soft boiled eggs were cooked perfectly—very satisfying!
As for the drinks, the kopi was super kaw (strong) but still well-balanced in sweetness. The Teh C was so nice that I even packed another to-go.
Looking forward to coming back to try their nasi lemak, which is one of their...
Read moreFirst time here. Nasi lemak rice is superb . Flavourful and the texture of the rice is not too soft or hard . Chicken is good full of flavour ( the outer very crispy but meat quite tender ) Sambal soso not spicy . Achar is superb fresh and sour . Love it !
Nyonya Curry laksa prawn bee hoon. Personally dont really like the soup ( shrimp taste too strong but The taste of curry soup is acceptable .
I think this curry laksa should add some vege ( too many factory premake side dishes like fish ball , fish cake ,fukchok and taubok)
The portion of this curry laksa is quite big , generous amount of bee hoon . Abit boring while half way finished it .
Environment is clean and cooling . Total of rm36 for this include tax . Not...
