If you are looking for a truly satisfying meal, you might be better off sticking to your usual go to spot.

Unfortunately, this place did not quite live up to expectations. The chicken chop was over fried and small in portion. The dry noodles lacked flavour, and the hot & sour soup missed the mark. Even the groundnuts felt like an afterthought, tasting like canned (which really is as I saw the foreign waitress refill them), cheap versions.

That said, the fried rice and fish soup noodles were decent, probably the only dishes I would consider ordering again (but nah).

Unless you are coming here to host a business lunch or trying to impress in a social setting in asian tai tai life, it is hard to justify a return visit.

To be honest (no hard feelings), if you are familiar with Din Tai Fung in Taiwan, you will find that it offers much better value and portions for what you pay. Nearest outlet is Pavilion Bukit...

Made a booking at 6PM, but our booking was placed at 8PM instead due to poor team communication and disorganisation. They slot in our table last minute, the table given to us was not even set-up for 5 pax (that we booked for) and it took us multiple attempts to get them to set-up the table. The table arranged was also too small to fit all our dishes, also took multiple attempts to get them to bring a sidetable for us (you know ur small tables cannot fit the mother’s day set meal, you should’ve just set up earlier or serve it in smaller plates from the beginning). It also took forever for them to serve us our rice even though it was included in the set meal. We expected better service from this place.

The mother’s day set meal was also subpar for the price. We’ve had a few disappointing meals here, we’ll be having our meals elsewhere after this. Hope your management will improve upon this...

Ordered "Red Bean Pancake" for aftermeal. Finished meals and asked the staff to prepare the pancake, waited at least 20mins and yet do not see it coming. So i asked the other staff to notify the kitchen again. Waited another 15mins and still dont see it. So i asked another staff, saying i waited 35mins and i wish to cancel the order. But the staff replied rudely,arguing that i had waited only for 15mins, that i should wait longer for it to be prepared, even after i told him i have waited longer than that. Few mins later, the pancake arrived but it tasted mediocre, like half of the meal. Honestly leaves a bad taste mainly because of one of the staffs not being polite. The rest of the staff are okayish...
