Tried the waffle with cheesecake ice cream at Inside Scoop recently. While the waffle was great, the cheesecake ice cream had a strong durian taste — which was surprising since we didn’t order anything durian-related. We suspect it might be due to the scoop being shared with durian ice cream, or maybe the durian scent was so strong it overpowered the other flavours. A bit of a letdown as we were really looking forward to the cheesecake taste. Hope the team can look into this — especially for customers who aren’t fans of durian. Otherwise, love the vibe and service as always!

Verdict: Average experience. Nothing bad about it. Will repeat because this is my favourite ice cream brand. Ice Creams: Durian Candol: 10/10. Must try. Combination of the durian taste, gula melaka, and cendol is a perfect match. Chocolate Mint: 8/10. Not my favourite, but quality is good. Environment: The dessert bar is rather small. Limited place to sit. Service: Good. Staffs are friendly.
