I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant with a great ambiance and excellent air conditioning. The star of the meal was the Bakuteh meat, which consisted of tender ribs and a flavorful broth. Although the meat was cooked well, some of the ribs were a bit hard to chew. However, the taste of the broth more than made up for it. It was packed with delicious spices and aromatics, and had a savory flavor that left me wanting more. I felt that the broth could have used a little bit more salt to enhance the overall taste.
Moving on to the dry version, it was a real treat. The meat was cooked to perfection and coated in a delicious sauce that added an extra layer of flavor. I enjoyed the dry version even more than the soup version, as it had a unique and distinct flavor profile.
The yam rice that accompanied the Bakuteh was also a standout. It was well cooked and had a great texture, and the yam added a nice earthy flavor to the rice. It was tasty enough to be eaten on its own, but paired perfectly with the Bakuteh.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good Bakuteh meal. The ambiance is great, the air conditioning is on point, and the Bakuteh and yam rice are absolutely delicious. While the ribs could have been a bit more tender and the broth could have used a bit more salt, these are small critiques that do not detract from the overall quality...
Read moreKee Hiong Bak Kut Teh delivered by Grabfood comparing the eating at the restaurant each order portion of the Grabfood delivery is only meant for Kids meal and furthermore the price much more expensive than eating at the restaurant. Further to that Kee Hiong Bak Kut Teh did provide the rice.
It doesn't matter the price higher BUT the portion should not be reduced tremendously equivalents to Kids meal portion.
Kee Hiong Bak kut Teh you already charged higher for the Grabfood and you should not be cutting down the portion of the foods. You need to be consistent so customers can have same experience eating at the restaurant as well as...
Read moreService was good. Extremely friendly lady boss. The best Bak Kut Teh place nearby Sungai Long. Highly recommend to order the Bak Kut Teh per bowl instead of the claypot as the soup is very thick and rich in flavours. The fish was fresh and cheap but they added some lime juice in it and I wasn't really use to the taste. The dry Bak Kut Teh was too salty (the HQ one is better). Will definitely come back again when I have cravings for...
