Little White Cafe — Restaurant in Kajang Municipal Council

The moment I masuk with my family, i was given judgy look by this one malay girl which was the waitress. Then when I sat down, she approached w menu. Mind you, I have small kids, so we always brought our own water bottles because you know, sugar high and all. So the waitress kept on asking, “No drinks? No drinks at all?” I said no. Then after a while, I approached her to order more food, and she AGAIN asked, “still no drinks?”. Then because of feeling pressured, we ordered 1 drink, and she asked with annoyed tone “Only 1 drink?”.

Then she kept on looking at us w judgy & annoyed look.

Then there was this one episode where my kid threw tantrum, and we didnt realize that he was playing w the door knob because we were talking to the waitress, she quickly went to my kid and said “Eh jangan main! Nanti rosak macam mana!” We said sorry, sebab tak perasan, but the way she said it!

Then when i wanna combine tables because more people will join us, she said “Nanti orang tak boleh lalu”. Actually tak kacau laluan orang, and only my kids will be sitting at the other side, so siapa nak lalu situ??

I hate my experience there. So i terus called up my friends, told them not to come & I cancelled my plan dinner for tomorrow also.

Sorry, it was a horrible experience. U would expect a good hospitality from a high priced place, but no. So if u dont have the patience or passion in working in F&B, please...

Our order : Lamb Shank, Beef Lasagna, Aglio Olio Seafood, Mashed Potato, Mushroom Soup, Chocolate Cake, Batik Indulgence Cake. Solely from my point of view :

Lamb Shank 3* taste like it have been reheat for few days. Sorry. Gravy too sweet. Beef Lasagna 4* Good. Only lack of texture. The salad dressing was so good! Wish I had more salad. Aglio Olio Seafood 2.5* Was expecting common dry type but it came out as watery aglio olio. Kinda like they sauté the seafood and then just dump watery spaghetti into the wok and done. Frozen seafood was acceptable, but the mussel and mushroom over power the dish. I dont know if this is aglio olio or mussel mushroom spaghetti. I would say, not my taste. Mashed Potato 4* quite good Mushroom Soup 4* I think it is wild mushroom. Not bad. Chocolate Cake 5* Good! Batik Indulgence Cake 4* quite good.

Last but not least, due to the price I was expecting better dining experience. Someone just dump our cutleries together on the table. It doesnt look nice lah. Even the wooden floor outside is screaming for help. Broken and just waiting to make someone trip.

Overall it is a cute restaurant, perhaps it need another levitation from new...

I think the best points that I can give to this cafe is the ambience. It's very calm and soothing. It has the very quality of a European cafe. Discreet, tiny and cramped seats, and very quiet. You certainly can bring a few of your friends and chat away without too much noise from your surroundings.

We went and ordered Lamb Ragout Fettucine, Pesto Pasta, a Fish and Chips and a burger. And I can easily say that the lamb fettuccine was the main star out of all the other dishes. The portions of the meat were plenty and not stingy, and it feels as close as an Italian dish could be (considering the sauce and taste of marinara). The Pesto Pasta is also not bad, while the others are okay and serviceable. We didn't order any special drinks.

As I said before, it is quite a small and intimate place. Therefore I don't think it's suitable to bring more than 5 or 6 people here. It's more suitable for a group of friends, rather than for big family eatings.
