[Updated 21st May 2024] Had the opportunity to come again to this cafe for dinner, and this time me and my wife able to have their foods. I ordered Butter Chicken with rice and I requested for smoked duck on the side for RM 18. My wife had their Chinese Kuey Teow soup which cost only RM 10. Easy said, their butter chicken is Creamy with a good amount of curry leaves and chili taste, the combination of the taste balance out, I can said it can even compete with the one from Jibril. As for their Kuey Teow Soup: The soup is on the lighter side, without too much of herbs taste not like your usual malaysian soup, but it still manages to make me feel comfortable, it’s best described as a good comfort food. For both dishes we had, their portions are big and for overall taste I can even say that they beat the hotel’s restaurant dishes. For the price and the taste, I really recommend this place for you to come. I would rate the food 5/5, as I don’t have anything in mind that they can improve, because it’s perfect.
Come to this cafe in March 24 during ramadhan. It’s seem to be one of the cool places to hang out in the night, having moreh or just hanging out.
Had their drinks Iced Latte and Blended Caramel. Iced Latte: The taste - I would rate 4.5/5, easily surpass the common cafe’s coffee ie. Zus n sbux Blended Caramel: The Ice is very finely blended, make it easier to consume. The taste is almost balanced, only that it’s a little bit in the sweeter side, I would rate it 4/5 also almost on par with sbux caramel frappe.
In addition, this cafe also serves varieties of food ranging from local delights to western cuisine. Unfortunately, I was unable to taste some of their dishes as I was already full when I came by. Surely will come again to try their food.
Summary, this cafe provides a very good environment to hang out, with varieties of foods, drinks and coffee for your...

We passed by and loved the decorations and atmosphere, checked the reviews, all good, so we decided to stop by and have dinner.
We ordered and food made it to the table at an incredible pace, less than ten minutes. I thought, something's wrong. Anytjing we ordered was bland and tasteless which is the OPPOSITE of Western foods, that are full of flavours.
Mac and Cheese was off, that cheese and cream sauce wasn't fresh. Carbonara Smoked Duck spaghetti, were bland, lacking the good looks.
We ate it, for whatever reasons, who knows why. On the way back to the hotel, had to stop on the side of the road to puke it all out. When serving creamy cheesy foods please double check expiration dates.
I don't recommend to go. The atmosphere's a bit cringe. There is a tired guy just singing, poorly, trying to create a good vibe. The music is too loud. His voice is shaky.
And last but not least, to the waiters, when hand out a menu you got to view time for people to READ the menu, specialty when there are so many pages. Wait until you're called, don't be so pushy.
Wish you...
Read moreFood taste is ok, food delivery was slow due to many orders at the same time, which we understand. However, service quality was not a good experience, particularly to mention a young Malay guy with a cap and silver@stainless steel looks-like necklace and bangle.
The way he spoke to customers and took the orders was not polite, with stressing intonation and not a friendly facial expression, like we were taking his time.
There is a girl who looked like his girlfriend occupying a table, whom he spoke to like flirting with, totally using a different approach then continued again with his unfriendly and gangster-like approach when delivering our food.
We have cancelled some of the orders because of his impolite attitude and reply. We heard he said loudly, ‘Order banyak memanglah lambat,’ while moving with an unsatisfied body gesture.
A Malay auntie was ok and accommodating. We appreciate the foods at DeDaun, but if the waiter didn't improve the service, we don't feel we want to ever...
