Lock Cafe — Restaurant in Kelantan

The place is just simple and loved by the locals here. It only opens at morning for breakfast up until brunch time. The morning curry chicken rice is the best Chinese curry chicken in town! The gravy is thick and creamy but not spicy, you can always add the chili called "sambal" to spice things up a little bit, and it's always a great combination with the curry. Higher crowd in the morning and parking is a little bit hard to get around here. Would highly recommend it...

The nasi lauk is a must try, just the right portion for breakfast. The crowd can be pretty big but the turnover is quick so the wait is not too long for a table. The half boiled eggs are perfectly boiled to my liking, not too well done and not watery either, you can slurp them off your plate with some soy sauce and pepper or just on its own. Highly...

Sadly the quality of food has been very embarrassing. It taste so different now compares to before. The chilli paste is sourish and did not blend well with the curry rice.

Will skip this in my next trip home. Looks like I need to search for a new stall to fix my crave...
