Get ready to be transported back to Thailand because the food here is on another level.

Not only is it very spacious, but there are also Siam vibes all around from the signboards in various languages to the huge variety of Siam food that I’ve never even heard of!

The Harimau Menangis is super soft and juicily marinated, so addictive that I ordered 4 of them and it’s still wasn’t enough for me!

The Tom Yam Gung is super savoury and packed with flavours as they are also made with Thai basils and santan with spices which taste exactly how they would in Thailand.

The Mango Sticky rice is heavenly with the rice texture being just right with ripe mango which you can cut in easily and enjoy.

The Sangkaya bread definitely brought my soul on an out-of-body trip as the bread’s super soft sponge-like texture with steam warms it not to mention the santan kaya sauce tasted like a million bucks.

The Somtum’s so scrumptious that a bite of it brings out your inner Thai and you can suddenly withstand the heat and it eat just like that without any condiments as it’s the freshest fruit they’ve used.

The miang pla siakap is to die for with the super sauce and the heaty fish you can dig in and finish all on your own, completely ignoring all of the other humans around you.

All in all, the food is to die for except for the kerang bakar which is so small, so nonexistent that I can barely see it which doesn’t live up to its name as blood cockles are huge in Thailand but other than that, the food is super nice.

Oh, and the plain water is free-flow too and they use super thick plastic cups where you can literally feel the quality, unlike the plastic cups in KL where one accidental squeeze can obliterate it in a blink of an eye with water dripping down to your shoes before it can quench your thirst.

As we know, Siam food includes a lot of soups and sauces, and some restaurants are very stingy when it comes to tissue – Not this restaurant! Here, they have stacks of good quality 2-ply tissue boxes for everyone, you can just take it and focus back on eating.

They really be taking out all your worries especially for ADHD people like yours truly to not worry about anything but to order, order, and order.

Restaurant hygiene is very clean, the ambiance very welcoming, and the parking very spacious albeit the many litters from passers-by on the ground.

Definitely my favourite restaurant in Kota Bharu, I’ve frequented this place 3 times already in the span of 4 days and I’ll definitely recommend it to everyone.

I don’t work at this restaurant, and I don’t live in Kelantan in case you’re wondering, but I’d definitely vouch for the food here – Absolutely...

Here’s what we ordered :

Miang Pla Tilapia : Mediocre. Honestly we’ve tasted wayyy better ones at other restaurant. The bihun that they served was also cold (as if it just came out of fridge) and the ulam was not that variety. Sauce was pretty tasteless. Tomyam Campur : Total disappointment. We were expecting piping hot tomyam that was freshly cooked. However, the tomyam that came to us was just warm and did not taste good. The prawn, squid and chicken bits in the tomyam had shrunk that I wonder how many times did this dish was reheated. The soup didn’t taste that good too. And yes, there was nothing else inside the tomyam except for about 4 very tiny pieces of prawn, about 4-5 pieces of shrivelled squid and some slices of chicken. Bawang, tomato, etc langsung takde. Somtam betik : Mediocre. Nothing to shout about as it tasted pretty bland. Green tea : Tasted good! Sirap limau : Just okay. Nasi putih : Slightly mushy. The one that you get if you overcooked rice with extra water.

Overall : Yes the service was fast. We got our food in approximately 25 minutes, so thumbs up for that. However, for the price that we paid, I would say that it was not worth it with the quality of the food that we got and I agree when people say that this place is overhyped. Pegi bercuti kt Kelantan ingatkan dapat makan sedap. Sekali tersalah pulak...

A very bad experience. We've ordered a lot of food and drinks, but the only thing that arrived is our drinks. At first, everything is going well, we're waiting for our food, but it's slowly getting so late that our food didn't arrived yet. ALMOST all food we've ordered. Already asked them if they were served yet or not, and they said we are serving it right now, then alright. But as times goes by from 8:30pm TO 10:00pm and almost 10:30pm, our foods didn't ARRIVED yet. And we chose to asked the counter FOR a second time, they still said the same thing, "we're serving your food" but when we asked them our table number which is F5, they said there's NONE. And we've had enough, ready to leave and we're about to pay for the drinks only, we told the cashier that our foods didn't come, we've waited for HOURS, only drinks arrived, the cashier didn't even SHOCKED about it. All he did was ticked off the canceled order WITHOUT ANY APOLOGIZE. No sorry, nothing, at all. This is common sense. Please fix your ERROR SYSTEM and MANNERS. First time experiencing this, and I was still in a total shocked. They should at...

13/11/2021 ( 7.35PM) The Tom Yam is to the sweet side, they added Santan in it. The drinks is okay. The rice is smaller portion, Eggs dadar is super delicious. We ordered Harimau menangis, ingat sedap. Rasa simple daging bakar, with sour sauce🤣🤣 Maybe we expected too much from this restaurant. Pulut mangga dia kami order satu set. Basi. But got full refund after complaining to the shop. During 7 ish they stated that, semua makanan goreng2 takde. Other things is simple and so so taste. Don’t expect too much sbb serious biasa. Makan nasi 7 pinggan ( the food dadar 4 set, Harimau menangis 1 set, Tomyam seafood 1 set, air sirap ais, teh ais limau, air mineral satu jug, air teh ais (lain semua satu set sbb nak try). The amount for all is almost RM100 ( Who said food in Kelantan is cheap? for this amount if food we get less than RM60 in KL) hahahaha well we’re surely will not go there anymore. Services is slow, maybe because of there’s lot of costumer. The food overall taste so so nothing special. Thats all❤️❤️ *attach the pulut basi. other than that, the parking is spacious. They provide enough space.
