Kelantan State Museum — Attraction in Kelantan

For a museum that is supposedly representing the state I can say that I am a bit disappointed. A small upper ground hall holds the exhibition on the many traditional performances that makes Kelantan world-class. But I've seen better presentation in several institutional museum in the country. Only the diorama on Gua Cha exhibiting the history of the state which can be traced as far as the Hoabinhian culture. Yes the museum is small and several features of the states are displayed at the nearby museums but there is so much that can be done inside. And Kelantan is a state rich in history,...

I just went there recently with the 3D art ongoing until 31 ogos. The environment inside the museum is cool, except when i watch the "wayang kulit" the voice of the Character is bad, the word pronounce is barely make any word. Maybe the mic is bad. The music cover is to loud which make any voice disappear.. the storyline of the wayang kulit is not that interesting... The joke barely hit me. So if they can fix the wayang kulit might get full start. Ouh the car park is so hard to get cause it...

The Muzium Negeri is one of the museums in the state of Kelantan. It displays 2 types of exhibitions. The permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibition galleries displaying historical artifacts or corner collection of wayang kulit, dikir barat, makyong, menora, gasing and local musical instruments.
