Heard this old time Hakka noodle shop is now run by second generation so we came to try. The lo shu fun is their signature noodle dish and it tasted ok. Not too flavorful just bland. The minced pork wasn’t fragrant. Maybe my tastebuds is used to heavier taste for dry noodles especially those with pork lard oil. As for the YTF the fish balls has nice texture and was bouncy, while the bean curd rolls and taufu pok were just average and bland. Maybe this is their old taste, but my tastebuds have been spoiled by the high flavor KL style cooking perhaps. Overall place is clean and spacious. Been eating this laoshufen since childhood time but recently dunno it's the 3rd generation or who that is taking charge at the cashier. Seriously mean and no manner. As if customer owe him money. Went at odd hour and checking if they started business already, he(guy at cashier) just stare without any response. Then repeat my question he answered in a after if sarcastic way. Both dry & soup also good. The dry type no dark sauce. Only with mince pork to add color & flavour. Soup also nice. But most people will order dry type. Service is very fast. I personally prefer fishball & the white taufu. The fuzhuk slightly salty for me. Be there early as the other type like brinjal, lady finger normally finished by dinner.
