arrived the restaurant 9.55am waiting eand been asking to clear the table about 15min but no one comes til a Chinese auntie come over and said they are volunteer not enough manpower cause got event on going today..then she help to put order then that was about 10.15am..immediately teapot and tea was given..after 45min noticed the food still not here and the next table which just sit down the food was served..then I was thinking is it order not place yet then I go to cashier and asked the Chinese young man he told me no order been placed then he go to a old uncle which I believe is the boss or supervisor then the order was on his hand and he just aiya I put Ur order now..without any apologise at all..I went with 2 kids then both of them are very hungry and when I asked again the Chinese boss/supervisor he still said that I do for you now without any paiseh or apologise still.. I believe today there are many events on going so all restaurant was full house but if you have a good attitude then I am fine..but even when we decide not to wait and go for pay..the Chinese boss/supervisor run away and dare not look at me and my husband..this is so so so so so so so so bad I ever had! Please get enough manpower whenever there is a event on going also please put yourself in others shoes..!! We went another restaurant for a quick lunch then the foreigner staff told us..today he himself as cashier, chef and waited..so might be abit delay..but I am fine!! Cause at least he informed and he knows how to treat his customer.. Think twice if you want have meals at the restaurant if there are events on going as they not able to handle big crowded..unless you are willing to wait cause they might missed out your order or they might just let you go out from their restaurant like that..by the way, we paid for our tea fees didn't walk out just like that..just they dare not looks at us even the cashier young guy also...
Read moreAs a local Klang resident for almost 30 years, this is one of the worst bah kut teh I’ve ever had. At 1:50pm we ordered Goh hui and Neng Kut for 2 person (around RM20 each), the broth was served barely warm without any sign of heat, even after the staff lit the bottom of the bowl, the fire only lasted like 5 min, so the entire meal was basically cool from the start. It might be my personal taste, but the broth had a tad of bitter aftertaste and on the saltier side which I didn’t enjoy, the broth was also not very aromatic. The Goh hui meat I had was so dry, I spent most of the time chewing the meat just to swallow it and I couldn’t taste any essence of the broth in the meat at all. The rice was nothing special, but the fried onion on top of the rice was so bitter, I suspect it being over fried or even close to burnt. The staff even forgot my order of you tiao. The only good thing I can say from my dining experience is the environment and the hygiene, being inside of a commercial building, it’s very comfortable to dine in and the amenities are quite complete (tissues, soy sauce bottles, hot water refill tank, tea sets, hand washing sink). For the price of RM57 for 2 person and the terrible food, would not recommend to anyone that wants genuine Klang...
Read moreJust tried Xiang Bak Kut Teh at Centro Mall, and it really impressed me! The food is very authentic, and you can tell they’ve stayed true to the traditional flavors.
The soup is rich, flavorful, and packed with depth — you can taste that it’s been slowly boiled for hours, not just thrown together with MSG. The pork is tender and well-marinated, and the you tiao (fried dough) was crispy on the outside and perfect for soaking up the broth.
They also offer some tasty side dishes that complement the meal really well. Overall, it felt like a comforting, home-style meal done right.
If you’re looking for a solid, traditional bak kut teh experience, this place is definitely worth checking out!
