Restoran Gold Leaf Village — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

Happen to pass by at the main road leasing to the roundabout and saw this restaurant. About dinner time and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly the dishes are good but not that super terrific. Service and assistance are adequately comforting. Overall experience is good and will come back for other dishes.

I read some comments that were given single star. Are they really so bad that they only deserve a single star? Example, A fly in your dish and they fail to say sorry and they deserve a single star? The discount is not adequately an apology? You know not everyone knows how to say sorry in words but they do it with actions. Do you think they really want to cook your dish with a fly in it? We got to rate business operators professionally. Running a business is really tough. Really tough, but we are sure everyone put so much effort to earn a living. Be emphatically fair. Haven't been back here for quite a fair number of moons. This use to be and still is a popular eatery among locals primarily because it offers incredible value to taste ratio even with seemingly everyday dishes.

The wok-hei factor on all the dishes was an instant recall to the taste I enjoyed so much twenty years ago when I first came here with family and relatives, although within a much smaller premise during that period. There's that slight hint of MSG in the dishes, but it only serves to greatly enhance the already fabulous flavours of the many (seafood) based dishes of the day. Speaking of which, the menu has kept up with the times and you're no longer confined to a handwritten list of dishes before.

This re-visit here felt like coming home after a long trip out. Service is more than acceptable despite the huge throng of patrons. Would I return? Yes, and with more good friends or relatives. Highly recommended...

Really love the Klang-style of cooking, my dad says this tastes so authentic Klang which he missed so much! 💕 The waiters all very efficient, everything comes quickly and premises very clean too👍

We ordered signature steamed fish 🐟 but sorry, we ate it so fast, i forget to snap a pic! We ordered a few of their popular dishes. Deep fried kangkung 🥬 and the sauce is sweetish sour with cuttlefish 🦑Looking around we see many tables ordered the seafood taufoo soup, so we also ordered it. Its very full of taufoo, and i would say its an excellent replacement of rice 🍚. The bill came up to rm107 (we brought our own chinese tea).
