Grand Palazzo Klang 巴生皇府大酒楼 — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

Came here for a business lunch. Newly Renovated , very beautiful place to dine in. Table for 10 private room. The head waiter was very friendly, staff very attentive. Very nice appetizers - preserved guava with pears i think , very refreshing. We were warmly welcome with a drink which I think it was an Assam boi drink - sweet with a slight sour & salty aftertaste. Lovely to start off our meals.

Portion size was huge, really huge. I feel they are super generous. Fish & prawns were quite fresh as it has the bouncy texture. Really delicious but we had to takeaway as it was really alot. Pork tummy soup was unique - it had clams in it. But the ginger was very strong for me. But if those who loves the strong ginger flavor, this should be the dish you wanna try.

Dessert was peach gum - sweet but it’s ok for me. Loved the Osmanthus Jelly (Kwai Far Koh) . It’s a must have. Highly recommended to have if you want a light dessert. The head waitress even took feedbacks from us on what can they improve. Kudos to the professionalism. Overall enjoyed the...

Reference to John Lee's review, I'm one of the seven. Honestly, there are lot more chinese restaurant within Klang area, I bet there are way more better than this service level and taste. It was truly deeply madly when Floor Captain told us "10 minutes" waiting time (at 8pm) After 10mins, there is another 10mins. We were about to walk off at 8.15pm but I still hold my anger because my primary school teacher was with us too. Oh Lord, we were starving!!!!! We ordered 东坡肉，it arrived with 4 pcs of bun. How pathetic 7 of us have to share that! (Haha). We looked the waitress who served that, she only could blinked her eyes at me. The funny part is Captain told us that portion of dish only serve 4 pcs of bun!!!!! What a disaster. I hope the restaurant seriously look into the entire process, get some experienced manpower to run the show otherwise you will have even more bad review. Don't forget word of mouth spread better than Google review in Klang!

I had a great evening with my parents. We were hooked in by the RM29.90 crab deal advertised outside. Haha ofc it was too good to be true as you'd need to order minimum 2 of the same flavour. We ordered the crab with garlic + dried chilli; I wouldn't recommend this flavor. Too dry and salty. The crab was nicely cooked and fresh though! I would go for a different flavour in the future.

My favourite dish was the vegetables with lotus, black fungus, celery etc. So refreshing and well cooked. Just what I felt I needed last night.

The atmosphere was aesthetic and "atas". They offer private rooms and karaoke packages for events at a decent (negotiable) price too. I might consider hosting something there...
