Kanna Curry House Restaurant & Catering (Best Banana Leaf Rice) @ Klang — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

We are Kanna's customer since Kanna open till now. Food is pricy thats fine since Kanna is Daun Pisang restoran and we pay the price as daun pisang serving whether its roti canai, thosa or meal. Nowdays kanna staff attitude getting annoying. Service too. They charges for the daun pisang standard food but serving with paper wit excuse they run down the daun pisang. If eat ur breakfast at 11am serving paper and another customer taking lunch at 11.30am serving wit daun pisang. So whether eats in paper or daun charges are same. Thats unfair. If u charges us daun pisang standard than charge for that standard. If u serve with paper than charge accordingly. When we highlight this the staff started purposely ignoring us and takes order late. Whether we comes with bmw or myvi we are paying you and we not enter your shop without knowing your pricy food. So educate your staffs do their job...

This Banana Leaf Curry House has been my quick fix for a delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. They serves freshly cuts of meat variety such as fish & chicken Tikka marinated with tandoori spices that you can basically order-to-fry.

Other than that, their selection of assorted side dishes are also worth the try as they were quick to be served over a banana leaf once you've ordered.

However, they're no longer using real banana leaves and the experience has been replaced with sort of like eco-friendly parchment paper (probably due to material cost/environmental).

For beverage, do try out their Masala tea if you're there as it tasted great in my opinion.

I absolutely love the food here. It used to be good, but they seem to have upped their game and the food has gotten even better than before. For me the benchmark is the roti kosong, which is usually chewy and cold at most places as they make them way in advance of the impending breakfast crowd. Not at kanna! The roti is crispy, light and fluffy and has a lovely colour that tells you it's perfection on a plate. The banana leaf rice is also always satisfying. The service has also improved a lot since the old days - it's now super fast and friendly, and I never have to wait long to be served even...
