Bandar Botanic Garden — Attraction in Klang Municipal Council

Used to be very beautiful and well maintained way back in 2011... Been here for jogs and some light run with family and friends. Came back on 2013 and still beautiful.... then I moved to Singapore then I came back again on 2019 and shocked that it is not maintained now. Nevertheless, this is the only beautiful park I have nearby the house. Used to be a beautiful, award-winning park that was frequently used for wedding shoot. Now it is so run down, it might as well be a filming location for "The Walking Dead". Wooden platforms, railings & other fixtures are broken. 2 out of 4 playground amenities are completely destroyed. Fountains have long malfunctioned & are now mosquito breeding grounds. Numerous slip-&-trip hazards along the jogging trek. Complaints have fallen on deaf ears; MPK & town councillors...

Botanic garden park was a good park that foster healthy community living. Unfortunately, it has lost its former glory and charm as many areas are suffering from neglects from MPK, such as the bridge, walkway, fountain, waterfall, rest huts are in bad and dialipated conditions and some have become breeding ground for mosquitoes.
