[too rich ah?] 1) overall - Chinese stir fried seafood restaurant, plenty of seating capacity but limited parking, slow service, average price, ok cleanliness, variety of food such as crab, shark, salted egg squid, seafood porridge, salted egg pumpkin, prawns and much more from Restaurant Yi Chun 2) kam heong mantis prawn - loved the texture, full of meat, fresh, very flavourful aka salty, tasted good 3) salted egg pumpkin - tofu was smooth and soft, mixture was mixed with salted egg, tasted good 4) kam heong shark skin - tasted alright, fresh fish 5) claypot Kang Kung with sambal - flavourful, ok taste 6) fried man tou - crispy skin and fluffy bread 7) baked crab - small crab, crab shell coated flavourfully, meat were stuck on the shell 8) seafood tofu soup - tasted alright, sticky 9) onion omelette - typical, cannot go wrong 10) sweet and soup crab - tasted alright, will be nicer if the crab sizes were bigger

What’s worse is the terrible environment, no aircon in one section, if you have less than 6pax, forget about coming here. They seat you in the older section where there are smaller tables with non-working aircons and noisy with kitchen sounds. And they will insist there is aircon even when they can see you are sweating profusely. What a terrible way to eat!!! Besides, I will never return cos this time the crab (see photo) which cost about RM300 is the worst I have ever had…the crab was overcooked till tough & dry even though I ordered steamed crab as I intended to enjoy the crab’s freshness & juiciness had it been done properly. I informed the lady captain & owner Mr Chia that the crabs had been overcooked & they didn’t bother to even respond. Don’t bother to come here anymore (lousy food, uncomfortable & no aircon if you are seated in old section & worst of all, it’s pretty expensive too)

Yi Chun Restaurant, a seafood spot in Klang, carries an old-school Chinese restaurant vibe, a surprising contrast to the bustling surroundings. We happened to be in the area when my pregnant wife craved seafood, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, many of their popular dishes were unavailable, leaving us with limited options. We ordered the sweet and sour black pomfret, which was deep-fried to the point that even the fins and bones were crunchy. However, it had an unpleasant fishy odor that made it less enjoyable. The garlic sweet potato leaves were decent, while the sizzling tofu was just average, lacking the expected egg base. While the restaurant was relatively clean, the sight of kitchen prep work—such as cutting and sorting vegetables—being done in the open was off-putting. Overall, the food was below average, and it’s not a place I’d revisit.
