We recently tried this bak kut teh place, and while it’s not quite at the level of our favorite spot in Klang town, it does come pretty close and makes for a satisfying alternative when we don’t feel like making the long drive.
The bak kut teh soup base here leans more towards a tong kwai profile with a light dark broth. It carries a pleasant herbal aroma and is flavorful enough to be enjoyable, though we personally found it not as thick or robust as we prefer from our Klang favorite.

I recently tried their dry bak kut teh and was blown away by the flavor. The pork ribs were perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, with a delicious savory and herbal taste. The accompanying pork rib soup was equally impressive, rich and comforting.
But the experience wasn't just about the bak kut teh itself. The side dishes were fantastic too. The tau pok (fried tofu puffs) were fluffy and soaked up the delicious broth beautifully, the enoki mushrooms added a delightful textural contrast, and the green vegetables provided a refreshing counterpoint.
Everything came together to create a truly exceptional meal. The taste was outstanding, and I highly recommend Restoran Ye Wen Klang to anyone looking for a fantastic bak kut teh experience. You won't be disappointed!
