Yam Fresh Kepong — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Went there Tuesday around 4pm for tapau. Got myself a customised dessert that costs me a bit more. But it’s ok coz it looks nice. It came half a bowl!😮😮😲😲 and I ask the workers there why is it half a bowl instead of a full bowl? U can practically open the cap and the cap is very clean coz the dessert is not full… 4 workers (plus cashier) just opened their mouth and no sound came out…. Then they call out prob their manager… she said “oh we changed the bowl… so everything is by weight” I was like huh? U change or no change the bowl… I don’t need to know… I just wanna ask why the dessert is not full… I don’t mean I paid full price, I expect a full bowl but I don’t mean full till it’s spilled out. Told them this is not the way of doing business. Should hv taken pic and att here. So I won’t be visiting them anymore coz it’s like scamming u. As tho the country is not enough of scammers …. U just go to other dessert shop… their take away is always to the top...

We ordered 2 ice dessert & taufu fa. Despite the word “yam” in their name, their yam ice cream was out of stock so i didn’t get to try. In fact, there were ALOT of items out of stock 🤦‍♀️ on the eve of a public holiday some more.

Additionally, a lot of tables were not cleared so the place had dirty bowls everywhere and it just genuinely looked like a hot mess. Thankfully Malaysians are ghetto and chill so there is still a steady stream of crowd coming in. Still, maintain some standard la, aiyo!

Taste wise, the desserts are really so-so. The 3 star rating for this place is so appropriate 😂 The taufu fa was quite “rough”, not as good as soybean factory. And the shaved ice not as smooth as after meal. The price is also quite high. 😩

Dunno the place why still so packed that night, maybe fengshui good or general public standards are not high bc I will not revisit😅 not...

Went there take away today for my dessert after dinner. The counter guy with white hair seems like not willing to work, talk lazy, say wrong my order, take wrong my order also. Where is my 3 colour yam ball? If out of stock or less another 3 type can straight ask the customer still want it or not or change it to another topping, but u the one who do my order still didn’t inform. I saw it when I home that why I can’t request on the spot. My boyfriend’s order another grass jelly also taste like spoiled. Luckily the toufufa save my whole appetite ! The staff behind him also look do nothing, I only order 2 toufufa which is ald made , still need to wait 20 minutes, the point is before us have no...
