Restoran De Hunan | Laman Rimbunan Kepong — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Used to patron this place quite often and last dine in three years ago. Obviously, they had updated menu to have more varieties. Some dishes could be too spicy but no worries, you can always request it to be less spicy. In my recent visit, we ordered spicy ribs in claypot, claypot with deer meat, mushroom with pork belly. All these dishes were excellent. Decided to try their dessert (potato pancake and golden fried milk...min order of 4 pieces @ RM3 each) and OMG...super duper delicious. Servers were attentive and even refill ice for us before we request....

Strange. Seems inconsistent. At times food here is alright, sometimes they taste rather bland.

The dishes here are hit or miss. Nothing too special. Some are quite ok, some are miserable. Come back a few times to try and find out whats good whats not. Some pork dishes are ok; vegetables alright; venison meat not bad; but that enoki mushroom dish, dont get that - that ones a rip off

Probable an average 3 star restaurant but since it's not cheap, here's...

Good Hunan cuisine in Kepong area, other branches are located in Kuchai Lama and Sri Hartamas.

The food taste lives up to the brand, spicy and very delicious. Wide range of menu covering appetiser, chicken, beef, fish, frog, vege, soup, desserts.

Comfortable dining environment, spacious ans air-conditioned. Plenty of seats available even during lunch time of a public holiday.
