We ordered the noodles which says 粗米, we assumed it’s thick noodles but it turned out to be mihun. We asked the Chinese man whom I assumed is the boss, why it is mihun. But he insisted it’s not mihun. We were really unhappy with his attitude. Also, the foreign staff were not well trained, we complained to one foreign young lady why the food took more than 40 mins to prepare, she didn’t say a word, looked at the kitchen and then looked away. WTH? And we can’t communicate with the foreign workers at all. They don’t seem to understand English/Malay. We almost wanted to leave as we waited too long for the food. Even customers from other tables were complaining the same. Regarding the food, the salmon fish head noodles was considered tasty for me. The fish was freshly fried. As for my husband’s food, he didn’t enjoy much as his food was not hot enough. Overall, we didn't have a good experience here. We decided never to come back even though the food was ok for me. Why not coming back? Service was very bad Chinese male boss not polite at all. PR very very bad. From the reply of other bad reviews also you...
Read moreWe’ve repeat to this shop few times because the food was delicious for us. On 31st Aug, we visit and ordered tomyam and clear soup fish head noodle, however the food quality was drop. We thought we can finish the noodle but we really want the shop owner to improve so we could revisit again.
We highlighted the feedback to the ‘lady boss’, not sure she is the owner or not, we highlighted few details ; the tomyam soup taste sweet instead of what we had last time the clear soup fish head noodle is tasteless is the fish overcooked / reheat
The lady boss was rude and reply, their tomyam is sweet, solution from her to offer is add the salt to the soup. Excuse me? What if my soup tastes salty? The fish is not overcooked, it’s just like that, and she left.
I never face this kind of service before or I think they don’t care about the business grow. So here I going to put my first review in my life. I hope the owner read the feedback and get improve in future....
Read moreThis restaurant caught me by surprised, totally unaware of it's existence despite being at the area daily. Found out while Googling for food in Bukit Jalil.
As a fan of Fishhead Noodles, got all excited and went there the next day. Have to say it didn't disappoint me at all. In terms of personal liking, the soup just a tad bland and would be better if they also offer belacan chili. The chili sauce provided is a concoction of (ginger, garlic, red & green chili, lime & fish sauce), at least that's how it tasted to me. Similar to that of Thai seafood dipping sauce (Nam Jim Jaew)
Not bad all. Definitely good to have more variety of food choices in Aked Esplanade. Will...
