This restaurant offers a unique combination of Thai and Lao cuisine! It's not very common to find a place with both in Malaysia. While Thai and Lao food share some dishes, like somtum (papaya salad), they use different ingredients. This means even though they have the same name, the Thai and Lao versions of somtum will taste quite distinct. Here, you can try both delicious variations!
This restaurant offers a wide variety of Thai dishes, from classic favorites like Pad Thai and Pad Krapow to boat noodles and Thai-style chicken rice. The food tastes very authentic, but I did find some dishes to be a bit on the salty side.
The price is fair for the portion size and quality of the ingredients. It's not the cheapest option, but it's not overpriced either.
The restaurant itself is clean and the staff are friendly. The food came out at a reasonable pace considering what we ordered.

The staff were attentive and friendly. They even gave us complimentary water when we didn't get drinks. Tall glasses. This puts them leagues ahead of most places especially the upmarket types that dare to charge for tap water.
The environment is cozy, located under the shadow of the Memizoozoo supermarket complex and residences. Prices are reasonable.
The steamboat looks enticing and might come back to try...
Read moreThis a Laos 🇱🇦 restaurant but the food is very much Thai as both countries share many similarities in food. This is non-halal restaurant so there are pork dishes on the menu. We didn’t order much as it was just two of us. The pineapple fried rice tasted quite authentic Thai, the prawn omelette and fried paku pakis vegetable was nice. Haven’t tried the rest of the food yet but will surely visit again for other dishes. By the way, they also have Beerlao the national beer of Laos which I was never able to find anywhere in KL. The atmosphere is simple but clean and cool inside. There’s also some outdoor seating for those who prefer non-air...
