Maxim Residences — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

Have been living here for few months already and so far so good. My agent really makes the renting process super fast and easy. I also like the location of this place, easy access to go anywhere but you just have to bear the congested area. Then again, you go anywhere in KL also got jammed. One thing I don’t like is the people who park illegally at the side of the road at the traffic light. It makes it hard for you to cross the road when driving out as the cars that parks there is blocking your view and also causing jammed in the morning as the 2 lane become 1 due to the illegal park. Seems like no legal action is taken so you just gotta deal with it. Oh yea, this place got Sauna but it never function apparently. Also, dealing with security and management was easy, I haven’t got a problem with them, they’re friendly. The security guard is helpful also, haven’t encounter with rude security as of now. And as far as the sound proofing goes, its okay-ish. You can still hear upstairs neighbour pull up their chair / move furniture / stomping once in a while. But it’s bearable. For parcel delivery, you can put the parcel hub’s address as the delivery address. They accept from most currier company like Shopee express, DHL, Poslaju, Ninjavan, pgeon, J&T and few others that I don’t remember. Just pay RM 1 when you...

As a resident, it's honestly a very calm place to live at. It has mynews and restorans as well as hair salon, practically everything is at your convenience. Dealing with my landlord has been hassle free but of course that might not be the same for everyone else. On the 7th floor, there's an infinity swimming pool with a gym. There's also a laundry room for the residents, a prayer room, as well as a very spacious yoga room.

Right around mynews, there's a place where shipments can be dropped off from any service (Lazada, flickpost, Shopee, etc) and you can then collect it by just paying RM1. Very helpful. Deliveries recognise this location very well.

UCSI University is just 20 minutes (on foot) away from here and it takes like RM5 on Grab. There's the Cheras station close by that I have yet to go to, Leisure Mall just one stop away from there.

It’s unreasonable about the parking! Actually the parking lot I used is a yellow-marked space, which should be available for parking since it has not been purchased by anyone. However, the security guard approached me and said that only residents themselves or the staff working here are allowed to park there, and others are not permitted. I don’t understand why! the space has not been bought by anyone. Could anyone of you kindly clarify the policy?!!!

Please take note of this stupid guard. Unfriendly! Before I left, I was very angry and told him that if he didn’t want people to park there, then he should just put a cone.
