Bad experience first time ever. The malay girl at cashier who takes order seemed like didn't know what she is doing. I retold her what I want twice and even pointed out on the menu at the cashier that I didn't want chicken shawarma. I want chicken shawarma with rice, I pointed in this item on the menu. And yet she took advantage of my friend who pays and wait at the shop. She charged my friend both items. Its not about the money but omg. She had only one job. THAT ONE JOB IS TAKE ORDERS RIGHT. Now we have extra food that we can't finish. Seriously, hire someone who knows what she's doing. Not someone who daydreams and doesn't know what she should do.
Update to the senseless reply. First of all. I'm malaysian. Fluent in bahasa and English. Second. You should've trained her to understand and memorize what's on the menu. Just so that she knows what customer is referring. Third. It took you 7 months to reply to me. You sure your staff really quit this job because of me? Judging from you said she remember me. Apparently you're lying and bluffing. She quit long time ago. I haven't seen her long time. And you are definitely bluffing since you said I'm not from Malaysia. If she really accused me these, she should've know I speak to her in malay. Fourth. Age is not an excuse. I'm one of the oldest customer you have since you newly opened in plaza. I worked in service line too. Started since 19. Being young has nothing to do with the incompetency. Plus if it's really like what you said, I pointed at the menu with the ignorant face, your staff should even know I wanted that right? So what's the fuss with me telling you that she's incompetent in her job?
I'm nice to people who works in service line most of the times since I'm one of them. But if I'm being unusually mean to the person at work, this person is definitely questionable.
Now, you are a questionable person too. Liar. Lied to save your reputation. False accusations. I'm amazed by how you manage this review.
Update 16 Aug. How am I to know who is the boss when everytime I'm only buying and leave? And the workers at the shop is always different and how am i supposed to know which is boss? Only two working like full-timer.You should put a name tag on yourself stating you're the boss. And I'm a malaysian. lol. You sure she really mentioned me as non Malaysian? I spoke to her in eng and malay. Wow. And how true it is that no one ever complained about her no one knows. And then what? Come. Call her out and sort this. See who's lying then. Let's see if she recognise me. And can still call me a foreigner. As much as I know is that you're lying. You're a liar, and most probably she's a liar too. Dahlah xreti bahasa melayu. Nk jugak berlagak main tipu. Xyah mcm2 drama. Org dah ckp ngan dia nk itu siap tunjuk pun xpaham2 lg, sape yg foreigner kat cni. Kalau xleh handle customer relation elok2 tu, belajar dulu. Ataupun hire je public relation tu senang citer. Ade je berlagak time handle customer. I pun keje service line, xde pun xde work ethics cam dia. Nama je cashier yg take order. Tp dia langsung xtau ape yg dia kena buat. Hello, I sendiri keje service line pun xpernah sohai biadap ngan staff yg keje service line jugak, lain citer kalau dia sendiri yg lansi ngan I dulu. Baru I melenting. Lg2 u punya staff tu xde pun I menjerit ke, marah ke kat dia time i order. sape yg kurang hajar skrg? I cuma review 1star sbb I mmg marah sgt2 dia xreti amik order, u tau bazir makanan tu sgt berdosa x? Kitorg xdpt habiskan makanan, pastu kena buang. Dosa...
Read moreAl Dayeh Shawarma is a Middle Eastern gem nestled in the heart of the bustling streets, offering a taste of authentic shawarma that lingers on the palate. With a range that includes chicken, beef, and lamb shawarma, this Halal stall stands out as a perfect spot for a quick bite, satisfying even the most discerning taste buds. Although they also offer ayam golek, I haven't tried it yet, but the promise of its flavors remains tempting for my next visit.
The takeaway-only setup is convenient for those on the go, and the affordable price ensures that you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy a hearty meal. Payments are straightforward, with both cash and QR payment options available at the counter, making it a smooth experience. The staff, from the cashier to the servers, offer service with a smile, always friendly, polite, and ready to assist, adding a welcoming touch to your visit.
The location itself is vibrant, surrounded by many other food stalls, which creates a lively atmosphere that makes waiting in line slightly more bearable. However, patience is necessary here, as the long queues are almost a permanent feature of this popular spot, leading to slow serving times. It's the price you pay for a well-loved culinary delight.
Parking can be quite a challenge—paid parking managed by DBKL is your best bet, as the streets are often clogged with cars, with double parking creating traffic congestion. Despite this, the flavor of their shawarma makes up for any inconvenience. Even with foreign Arabic workers manning the stall, the authenticity they bring to the shawarma preparation is unmatched. Al Dayeh Shawarma is a place where the taste of the Middle East truly shines, and it’s worth every effort...

Ok i can say. Yes OK only.
Service; Perhaps ur worker can learn to communicate, smile and appreciate a customer. Someone recommend me Al Dayeh. Yes it seems good food. But will i come again? Maybe not. I come from 60km away just to appreciate ur said quality and frustrations is what i get. It’s all about attitude, i see u reply most of the review…more on defending the business. That is good. But is there any improvement when it comes to service and attitude? No. The only reason Damascus is famous is because of service. And now they’re scammers as a lot of report going about them for miscalculation. Do Al Dayeh wanted to be know as arrogant at service?
