Adrian by the day, Sara by the evening - amazing service, so passionate, warm and bubbly! There were some waiting time for us to place the order but as our hostess Sara is the only person taking the orders, it was completely understandable.
I love the ambience giving the vintage dining vibe and feeling cozy.
Food wise, firstly, love their seafood tomato soup 😋 super appetising and it has a very rich flavour. We also tried the truffle soup but my preference still goes for the tomato ones with the rich umami taste! For the other appetisers it was just so-so for me :) but the sauce to go with was so good!
Slow cooked lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection, so tender and it just fall off from the bone when you try to cut 😍
Hands down to the pasta~ We tried the Spanish bone marrow pasta, spicy seafood aglio olio and truffle seafood cheese penne. The pasta was al dente and my favourite to choose (tough choice) goes to truffle seafood cheese penne, bone marrow pasta then only spicy seafood aglio olio - Chef’s kiss that it was so delicious. The spicy seafood aglio olio was good and it was a disguise haha initial bite doesn’t feel spicy until the kick comes in later slightly numbing and burst of spiciness 😂
For the steak we actually choose Angus Rib eye - medium, Wagyu rib eye 6/7 - medium rare, Wagyu rib eye 8/9 - medium. I have slight mixed feelings because mine was supposed to be medium rare but the rib eye was probably thinner on one side and it came medium to almost medium done. For the Angus rib eye and Wagyu rib eye 8/9 came medium rare 🥲😂 so my favourite actually goes to the Wagyu rib eye 8/9, it was so so good but it wasn’t mine so I didn’t get to eat more 🥲😂
Not sure why so many place I eat steak they usually overcook mine a little more 🥲
We also tried the wood chicken that requires pre-order, it was okay and juicy but I guess I’m not very familiar with how it was cook or work? The drumstick was juicy for sure but I can see the chicken breast side seems to be leaning towards dry. I think it also came last among our main (where I’m quite full already 😂 hence might be the biased review)
Last but not least their Alaska Bombe dessert was amazingggggg inside was ice cream and it was super delicious! I’m not a fan of sweet tooth but I love this dessert so much haha! Maybe you should try their ice cream too.
Thank you Sara and also Aura Empire for the complimentary wine. It was an amazing evening with such a warm hearted and caring team. The wine went so well with the food. I love to look into the open kitchen concept from the area we dine as it reminds me of the drama La Grande Maison Tokyo. Absolutely would recommend Aura Empire to anyone who wants a top notch service and also good dining experience to come and try. Price wise can be slightly on the higher end but its priceless experience is for sure.
For 6 adults, we had 3 appetisers, 3 soups, 3 pasta, 5 mains and 1 dessert. Tbh it was quite an...
Read moreA bit over-rated fine dine concept restaurant. Was a bit put off when I tried to book the place, it’s for a 2pm booking, was asked for rm100 deposit, was it even necessary as they don’t serve package or combo meal set, we would order when we get there, why ask for rm100 deposit? Plenty of tables and on weekday afternoon. The timing is for weekday afternoon, not public holidays nor popular dinner time peak hours, I just don’t think that’s necessary.
3 of us, total bill was almost rm1400, no wine no dessert. I felt the waiter also trying to push us, we asked for plain water which was written rm3 (up from rm2) and he opened an Aqua Panna subsequently charge with rm26 each. We already ordered 3 main dishes (plus appetizer and each got a truffle soup) but he still pushed for the 4th main course. Anyway, we are food critics and opened for exploration just didn’t think that was necessary.
All food was presented very nicely, won’t say top notch, scallop was done well, it says 4 pcs but actually 3+1 tiny one. Hamachi fish was so so, perhaps you can skip that. And lamb rack also was ok, those don’t fancy lamb smell can skip that too, ours have quite a hint of it, I asked for medium, it came medium rare. Lobster uni was ok, however for the price rm298, I can get better elsewhere.
Environment was not that comfortable on the sofa, too low for that table, you can’t eat properly. I saw other customers changing table. We got too warm (aircon not strong) and decided to...
Read moreA quiet, cosy and soothing music restaurant with excellent service. They are super attentive in every way. Glad to have found out about this place that serves good food with quality ingredients. It's a corner bungalow near traffic lights, ample parking space inside. A good place for private event too.
Love the mushroom truffle soup and squid smoked tomato soup, packed with rich flavours and generous ingredients in tomato soup. Sea prawns tapas came with 5 averagely big fresh prawns and packed with garlicky flavours. Star of the show is the medium cooked Angus grainedfed 150 days rib eye (300g) that was served with butter, mustard, raw egg and a hot stone to suit those who wants their beef to further cook. It's a brilliant idea to provide the hot stone, we used it to warm up each piece of beef cut along the way as we took sometime to slowly enjoy our 300g rib eye 😋😋 It's tender and juicy, and we also get to choose a side dish that came with it. We ordered an add-on spicy squid too but not really fancy about it. Also, love their chocolate frappe which was rich with lots of...
