Bellamy Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and rustic dining experience with a focus on traditional Indian flavors and, most importantly, toddy. The toddy, a fermented palm wine, is the star attraction here. You can opt for the classic, unflavored version which is milky-white and has a slight fizz and tangy sweetness. For those new to the drink or who prefer something sweeter, the flavored versions, such as lychee or watermelon toddy, are highly recommended. The watermelon toddy, in particular, is a great choice as the fruit's sweetness mellows out the toddy's distinct taste, creating a refreshing and balanced drink. Complementing the unique beverages is a range of potent and flavorful Indian curries and dishes. The wild boar varuval is a popular and highly-recommended choice, featuring tender meat immersed in a thick, peppery gravy that pairs perfectly with the banana leaf rice. Mutton varuval is another standout, with chunky, spice-coated mutton and plenty of dried chilis and curry leaves. While the menu might be simple, the food is hearty and satisfying, tasting like a home-cooked meal that provides the perfect foil for multiple glasses of toddy. For those who aren't fans of toddy, the restaurant also serves cold beers at a reasonable price, though the unique experience of a toddy and curry pairing is what truly sets this...

I have to agree that this is one of the best Indian food in town! This is a home concept lunch spot. The owner of this place gave a good dining experience and they were helpful and friendly. It's very rare to get a good (spinach curry) Keerai Curry nowadays and over here they served the best of it. Chicken 65 is highly recommended and my favorite here. Mutton varuval is mouth watering too but for some people you might feel it's lil spicy but I loved the spiciness level. It's my first visit and I'll surely keep coming back again with family and friends. Do keep in mind that this place are crowded on weekends, do come early for best and quick servings.

Came again today for lunch with family and the taste did not disappoint us either! We all love the village vibes just like an old school thing which is very rare to get around KL. The taste is still the same as our last visit. Tried their squid varuval today and it was appetizing. Today they served us with sambar which was flavorful. Have to agree that I'll add squid varuval to my favorite list. Their service is still great and we felt like we are attending family open house. Also tried watermelon toddy and it was delightful. I will keep coming back again for lunch. Do give a try guys you'll...

An interesting experience. Located within a bungalow. Specialising in exotic meats (lizard & wild boar) & toddy. Simple no frills set up with a decent outdoor seating. Friendly staff & owners. Reasonable pricing. Nice background music. Street side parking available but watch out for summons.

There were 5 of us so we ordered quite a bit - wild boar, monitor lizard, mutton stomach, chicken 65, egg podimas & a special dish. Eaten with banana leaf which comes with rice, pickle, one veggy & papadom. The dishes while cooked in a similar style all had their own distinct flavors. Really surprising & very yummy. Definitely will go in for seconds.

As expected we also tried their toddy. One original & one pink guava. Latter being a bit too sweet although might make it easier to drink. We still prefer the original. Especially an iced cold one during a hot day.

We enjoyed our weekend lunch. It's definitely worth a try. Will return to try out...

I had a very bad experience at this place a week ago.. After viewing my review the food management (kanna & thinesh) reached to me to explain about the situation, and even apologized to me, even when it's clearly not their fault. The effort they took is commendable. It seems there are two different managements engaged in this facility and they operate separately. One in charge of food, and the other of drinks (jojo garden). The guy in charge of drinks was very rude. He was very sarcastic, unprofessional and very cold towards customers, especially kids. Hope this guy learns how to behave in the future. The next time i'm there, i am gonna order only foods and no drinks at all..
