My husband bought me a Rojak Mee Sotong for take away. So I can’t really comment on service or ambience. Was excited & nervous to try the rojak after not being able to go there for sometime(was living abroad) and read some reviews saying it’s not like from 2005. I am 45 years old now and my first experience of eating Rojak at Rojak Bellamy on Jalan Bellamy was 35 years ago. Yes you got that right-1988! Was living at MINDEF so this place was a regular joint for my family. As far as my tastebuds go, the Rojak was how I imagined it. I think the portion of the sotong, tauhu, & kuih/cucur is sufficient for a person(trust me I know what small portions are). The taste of the rojak gravy was delicious with a hint of heat and not overly sweet as I had expected from previous reviews as well All in all, I am very happy and will return there again myself to order the same thing plus a bowl of Cendol to...
Read moreInitially when was looking for rojak found this place with unusually high number of review and decided to give it a go. We ordered cendol, pasembur sotong and mee goreng sotong. The cendol was below average while the pasembur was average since the sotong had strong fishy smell and they did not pack it with the kuah instead packed it separately while the mee goreng was good but they packed the food using plastic container so the taste was a little weird. In a time where shops are moving to recycled paper and other biodegradable options this shop is still using plastic packaging. Hence reducing few stars. Overall was ok but not worth the hype, I have eaten better pasembur in klang and will rather driver 40 min to klang next time I have the craving for...
Read moreI went to the one at 3rd Mile Square Old Klang Road. Even though can dine-in, I chose to tarpau. The portions are shockingly small. It even comes in little tiny plastic bags lol. I am a small eater so I'm ok with it but I think 99% out there will complain how small portion it is for Rm7. I didnt have to pay parking maybe due to the short period of time there. The kuah is watery but very tasty. No keropok, half an egg, no sotong, and again very tiny portions. Rojak Bellamy has always been my fav for rojak mee but seeing this is so close to 3rd mile Shell Station Rojak, which gives you a huge portion, I...
