Have been contemplating between this and the other recommendation for a while and finally got to try this out. We came slightly earlier before noon and gotten a place comfortably - parking was a breeze and so will be your dining experience(literally)... Ikan kembong and Ikan pari was alright, nicely charred and have it with rice and vegetables/ulam would make a satisfying lunch.

We had ikan kembung bakar, sotong bakar, kerang bakar, ikan pari bakar, ulam sayur etc. Here also have pisang goreng stalls. All tasted nice. Price is affordable.

Went here last weekend, the price and food taste were okay but the choices of lauk becoming less but what bothers us the most was the service, aunty wearing spectacles was rude. We politely ask about the price for small size of pari and got scolded with ā€œDUDUK DULU, MAKAN DULU BARU KIRAā€ then while we were eating she came to our table and calculate our bill we asked her bout the price of sotong and she was like ā€œkat situā€ while arrogantly pointing at the receipt she just given.

Iā€™ve noticed that this gerai is not crowded as it used to be probably because there are few other ikan...

This is probably the best grilled fish in KL. My opinion:-

Food (5/5) - loving the stingray and catfish. Both red and black dippings are tasteful. Tried other dishes there and masak lemak putih is my favourite.

Service (4/5) - Self-service. Nothing to comment here
