We took nasi lemak, mee rebus, karipap bawang, roti boom n kari, telur separuh masak, n teh tarik. Overall food was good & delicious. Loved the nasi lemak sambal; it's savoury and very nice unlike certain sambal with so strong taste n smell of belacan but this one just hit the right notes. The nasi was also good, just nice santan taste, not too much not too little. The mee rebus was good though the original muar mee rebus was better but this one suffice. The karipap bawang was tasty with just the right seasonings and the same goes to the roti boom n kari gravy. The ambience is very nice, cozy, relaxed atmosphere and very comfortable. What I liked the most and stands out is the fact that they have oldies malay 70s music played and the volume was tuned nicely that it did not interrupt our eating mood unlike certain restaurants which put the volume too high and affected our mood where sometimes we can't even talk to each other without raising our voice. Kudos to the manager (or probably the owner herself) & all the staff for the excellent service šŸ‘ šŸ‘ Will definitely come back and bring more friends to taste more dishes.

my honest feedback and i mean no harm šŸ˜šŸ™ roti boom 2 pcs + sambal āœ…ā¤ļøšŸ’Æ delicious.. recommended.. kacang pool (mince meat with fried egg) + bread āœ…ā¤ļøšŸ’Æ delicious.. recommended mi rebus āŽ not my preference šŸ™ it is quite debatable about recipes anyway.. their mi rebus more towards curry taste i thought mi rebus combination taste of dried shrimp + sweet potato + curry laksa johor + spaghetti + sambal belacan mmm i don't know the laksa is quite bland šŸ™ƒ the sambal belacan is the savior šŸ™† so in conclusion yup can say overall is 50-50 still I'm not Johorian but if I want to compare the mi rebus, I would prefer at Pagoh and Larkin for price expensive and the taste not worth the price for services āœ…ā¤ļøšŸ’Æ for parking few spaces and paid parking for chair not so comfortable since their customer are likely adult and elder

Truly a gem in KL to get your authentic malay Johor food fix out of Johor. I always come back here if i have a craving to eat lontong darat or laksa johor. Their lontong darat, laksa johor and soto is recommended for those first timers coming here. Their karipap bawang is also their specialty as it is a family recipe. The cafe has a comfortable and laid back ambience. The staff are very polite and service is fast.May get a little bit crowded during peak hours though.Nonetheless, a great place to chill with friends and get a bite of traditional Johor food with a cup of coffee.

Frustrated with the service of this place. I came here twice for their yummy roti jala and kari ayam. One in the evening at 4pm, and one in the morning. And both roti jala were UNAVAILABLE! In the evening, it said it ran out of stock. In the morning at 9am, it said that the cook has not prepared it yet. I asked kenapa jadi macam tu?! And the waiter said something that made me write this review immediately. He said "semuanya bergantung kepada tukang masak pukul berapa nak buat". Seriouslaaa that is the answer!! And after a while, they came back and said "roti bakar habis"..and then came another time "kacang pool habis". I am furious! 😔😤😔😤. I am the type that can accommodate to minor flaw, but this is too much and the answer given is unacceptable. Yes they apologize but that does not make up to the bad service. Sayang food sedap, but their kitchen prepare food ikut suka hati. I'd suggest for those who want to come to this place, google the menu and call them first to check out whether the cook has the mood to prepare certain food item sebab tukang masak dia ikut mood ye nak masak apa dan bila! I mean that was the...
